Can someone please tell me what part of the (or any) ME podcast was espousing CRT?
So when Rinella referred to Trump voters ( 1/2 the country) as "American Isis" and stated later that the only credible news source is the NYT he was recruiting non hunting folks over to hunting? Sounds like you're projecting. When BHA, a close ally of Rinella and Newberg, openly support and promote gun ban, pro predator folks in their organization and ecoterrorists to manage our public lands, one tends to think the trend is not positive for sportsmen .The woke social justice crowd on here loves this stuff though. That’s exactly my point.
Meateater and Rinella himself have done the best job of bringing the gap in decades. Actually bringing millions of people to appreciate hunting or at least not see every hunters as Elmer Fudd.
It was apparent that in the last year the company was no longer on that mission.
But then again recent actions seem to be moving back in the direction of putting hunting in a positive light.
I guess Remi is the last frontier. If his next podcast is a lesson in critical race theory like Meateater’s was then we will know it’s officially jumped the shark. Lmao

When did he say that and where? So when Rinella referred to Trump voters ( 1/2 the country) as "American Isis" and stated later that the only credible news source is the NYT he was recruiting non hunting folks over to hunting? When 99.9% of the critics of critical race theory are of one race - the one that's been in power for the history of this country - well an objective honest person would figure out why that is.
Does it make you feel uncomfortable?CRT is NOT “just telling the whole truth.”
if you actually believe that you really need to go back and understand the roots of where it comes from
HISTORY is telling the whole truth, CRT reframes it through the Marxist lens as applied to race. Period.
It seems that you are a glutton for punishmentWhen 99.9% of the critics of critical race theory are of one race - the one that's been in power for the history of this country - well an objective honest person would figure out why that is.
I think the same claim was made back in February on the BHA thread, and you and I asked for the specifics. I may have missed it, but I don’t remember seeing an answer. When did he say that and where?

I think we disagree, but I’m open to hearing arguments. Can you point to objective support for the 99.9% figure, or that CRT speaks to the “whole truth”? I’m too old to have been taught CRT so I’m only familiar with what I’ve heard second-hand (and I get the risk of that), but if “white people are born racist” is really a tenant of CRT, then at best I would think that’s an opinion. I’m not saying there isn’t prejudice and racism, I just don’t believe CRT is objectively correct. When 99.9% of the critics of critical race theory are of one race - the one that's been in power for the history of this country - well an objective honest person would figure out why that is.
I would like to know this as well. When did he say that and where?

I've listened to every single episode of the podcast starting with number one in order back in 2014. That's why I'm usually such a defender of MeatEater, I have heard every minute of the podcast. I have long commutes and it comes out once a week.I would like to know this as well.
The podcast is Joe Rogan’s 1559. Rinella said one of his friends that served in the military calls the Trump supporters that put flags in their trucks vanilla isis because of the isis truck caravans with flags in the back.I've listened to every single episode of the podcast starting with number one in order back in 2014. I am a die hard conservative and I've never really had my ears perked up by anything I've heard from Steve on that podcast. Maybe by some of the liberal guests or Phil the liberal audio engineer, but not by Steve.
Trying to rack my brain about the claim people are making I believe he specifically said that "one of his liberal friends labeled Trump supporters as American ISIS." And if that is what he said, and he was referring to his friend as one of his "liberal friends" then what does that make him?
And as for people complaining about the lack of hunting content and all the side bar babbling......it's a podcast. Not a documentary. It is a "Digital Radio Program" there are personalities and there is banter and I find it entertaining because I know what's going on because I listen every week.
Every episode is related to, wildlife, hunting, fishing or firearms in some way.
I never regularly listened to Howard Stern, people told me it was awesome and funny. Whenever I tried to listen to it I had to turn it off, I was lost, it didn't make sense and I didn't find it funny. Why? Because there was missing context. If you didn't listen every day it just sounded like nonsense.

You do realize that critical race theory is nothing more than choosing to tell the whole truth right? Nah, prolly not.
I agree with what you wrote right up until that point where you expressed your discomfort with someone telling the whole truth.
I have no problem with that. If people do, they should ask themselves why they do.
Oh, so Rinella didn't actually refer to Trump supporters as "American ISIS", he made a joke on a comedians podcast based on someone elses statement. Truly fascinating how people twist around words to hear what they want to hear....The podcast is Joe Rogan’s 1559.
