Interesting posting, and I agree with all but the last sentence. I (and likely many others) know NONE of those names and yet have a very profound understanding of exactly what the hell is going on vis a vis CRT.

To your last point, I would guess that the reason you do understand it is because somewhere along the line you gained an understanding of CRT via someone who HAS read those texts and understands them well - whether that was made explicit or not. Point being that Critical Theory is not something that is easily explained at a deep level without knowing its roots. Many people today just say “CRT is a tool to understand inequities.” It’s not. Only someone who understands post-modernism, for example (and this means Foucault), knows why part of CRT hinges on the death of objective truth.

Race is a word only used by humans that describes unique characteristics of a species. Ethnicity has nothing to do with race.

Theory is a conclusion based on evidentiary support of a hypothesis through testing and following the scientific method.

I really like Clay Newcomb. I’ve been following him for a few years on YouTube. If you get a chance watch his YouTube videos. He’s a mule man, squirrel hunter and owns the Bear Hunting magazine.
I’ve listened to his podcast while traveling. He’s a well spoken man.
As someone mentioned Meateater will grind him into dust before it’s over.
I gave Clay some negative feedback on his bear hunting hats.
I told him the price for the hat was higher than giraffe pussy and I wasn’t going to pay big money for a hat to advertise for him.
Lower the price and I’ll rock the hat until it falls apart. He said I was funny but the prices were set. I sent back that my mind is set too. Set like concrete. No hard feelings.
I still like his videos and his podcast.

As an aside, if you want to hear a great interviewer, listen to Ben Shapiro’s Sunday show. He lets the guest talk until they naturally finish the thought. Sometimes the guest will go 5 solid minutes uninterrupted.

As an outside observer, I would only point out that the overarching theme when this happens is that people resort to crying conspiracy theory or something else without ever taking on the context of the comment. This lends itself to a conversation that devolves into name-calling instead of constructive conversation that either proves or disproves the assertion.

So, do you agree with the definition of white supremacy as offered by the National Archives? Is America founded on and does it continue to forward laws with the goal of maintaining white supremacy? Hunting does have a bad PR problem with the non hunting public, and newsflash to all the haters, MeatEater isn't it. Quite the opposite.

I don't see a single organization giving hunting good exposure to the masses like MeatEater does. If you don't like the content then don't listen to it, and make sure you make a post on RS complaining about it. But let's not pretend like they are bad for hunting.
