Interesting posting, and I agree with all but the last sentence. I (and likely many others) know NONE of those names and yet have a very profound understanding of exactly what the hell is going on vis a vis CRT.
To your last point, I would guess that the reason you do understand it is because somewhere along the line you gained an understanding of CRT via someone who HAS read those texts and understands them well - whether that was made explicit or not. Point being that Critical Theory is not something that is easily explained at a deep level without knowing its roots. Many people today just say “CRT is a tool to understand inequities.” It’s not. Only someone who understands post-modernism, for example (and this means Foucault), knows why part of CRT hinges on the death of objective truth.
in any case, yes, fight CRT wherever you see it.
