Ha! Well I hope the heavyweight or something similar comes around. I guess I should start poking around some of the local stores to see whats left in stock. Do they have a release date for the new line?

They'll have them at the shows this month, probably March or so, maybe sooner they'll have them ready. It's tough to say because they get different gear in stock at different times of the year lol

I have stayed quiet since my first couple posts awaiting an official response. It isn't going to happen. I have zero problems with business models that don't cater to me. But, as a company that was born and bred to cater to hunting demands, I expected a more proactive response to an open attack on the 2nd Amendment that has ensured this country's democracy. We all have the right to feel and say what we want. But, with those rights come the responsibility that we will be held to those convictions by others. This guy was an independent contractor who depends on his marketability in order to make a living. He was the owner of his business and made a choice to openly choose a side. HE was likely looking for or conducting other opportunities when he made that video as well. I hope Sitka chose's to support his decision and find a consultant that shares the same commitment to our Bill or Rights as a large percentage of their customer base does.

That is all we can expect as hunters and firm believers of the intent and resolve of our 2nd amendment rights. Because it is obvious that is all we are going to get. Its a free country so they say. Practice that Sitka.

I spoke to a marketing guy in pm on Instagram and he said they cut ties with him but for legal reasons couldn’t make a public statement. For what that’s worth

I get that they cannot publicly lambast this wannabe social media star....but that doesn't preclude them from reiterating the tenants the business was founded on.

BTW, they have some of those^ on their website already.

Now there is one more possibility....that the Gore parent company has a mandate to slowly move towards the "main stream" for a bigger market for their products and focus less on hard core hunters. This could be the reason they hired this hipster fellow in the first place.

I DM’d Cody on Instagram and he made it clear to me that he is in complete opposition to any gun control measures, including universal background checks. His head is on straight in that regard. He and Charles are good friends and he was just showing support for a buddy, while not necessarily agreeing with his message. I think we can all relate to that. I have friends that I think are ass backwards politically but I can be a grown man about it and still cultivate those friendships using other common grounds and interests. Cody is in a tough spot in this one and is just hoping Charles comes out

holy crap how did i miss this thread...25 pages of bitching about one guy who gets a good discount on gear...and tells the world about every ****ing move he makes. I followed him for a bit on instagram...holy drama queen look at me look at me .....the dude is somewhat a nut job..but he has found a way to hunt and fish and get some shwag so...good for him i guess. anyway...holding sitka to task for something that one individual said is kind of silly. I still cannot even see what he said beyond we need to do something about mass shootings...where did he go from there? Anyway. go hunt, buy the gear you like. you all sound like the oversensitive "snowflakes" you like to make fun of. talk about triggered.
