I certainly do not feel like crap but that is no accident.
Hope it all works out for you.

As the person who started this thread, please leave this thread and don't comment here.I am A medical doctor, so my background is multi factorial. I also happen to know the owner of Low-T centers is not even medically trained but simply a business person who knows guys want to feel better.
i also know pcp docs are looking for a reason to make money, and low t is a easy way to make money in the sense it requires appts and insurance can pay. Payments have gone down across the board for medical doctors and a lot of docs look for ways to increase revenue. There are many business models proposed to docs that have no bearing on patient care that are simply to make money. Not saying all docs do this kind of stuff, but i know some in every specialty.
there are plenty of studies on both side of the argument regarding supplemental hormone replacement so you can find any study to support your side of the argument. But, i have the “inside the industry”knowledge to know some things are done to just make money and very rarely is testosterone replacement a requirement....
do any of you wonder why this has suddenly become the thing to do? Compare testosterone replacement in people below 70yo before and after obamacare, night and day difference. Follow the money. It isnt because the medical profession suddenly became aware of testosterone replacement.
You're also old enough you were raised on real food. And thats You're habits.I certainly do not feel like crap but that is no accident.
Hope it all works out for you.
.7 ml of testosterone cypionate
Idk I'm normally not a ball of fire but not normally this sleepy.
He told me over 300 test, insurance would not cover.
But they only use a single compounding pharmacy and won't send a script to my pharmacy.
Idk I'm sure I'm freaking out about nothing. But something seems wierd. I probably won't take any more and just wasted $300
I can't keep that price tag up monthly.
65 in a few months and I do not take and never have taken any supp T. There are a lot of things you should do before that imo.....diet should be as close to 100% good, body fat% should be low, strength training and aerobic capacity training should be good....then lean muscle mass would be up.....intermittent fasting is worth a try while your doing that other stuff.....
the e-z way is not always the best way.
Honestly it's a weird one. I was tested at 25 when I was a gym rat eating VERY clean, weighing food, taking very high quality supplements and doing things right, and still had low T, it just wasn't low enough for my dr (who I have since learned from locals here is a complete quack) to prescribe anything.^ that guy is ripped. I still say that certain foods and certain strength exercises can help a great deal with T and feeling good. I guess it is a complicated subject.
I'm sure there are some people for whom TRT is a bad idea and may have negative consequences, but we're all different and the same inputs don't always result in the same outputs (re: diet and exercise, etc.). As an extreme example, I had a tumor that destroyed my pituitary glad, and now I'm on a full hormone replacement regimen. I have to imagine that there are lots of men out there who might not have 0% function like me, but who also don't have a 100% healthy or fixable system.I used to believe it was just eat great foods and work out hard, live healthy, you'll be fine, but I think some people just have shitty genetics and not the best luck
Now at 30, I have to force myself to get out of bed. I have zero sex drive and worse issues in that department, I have zero energy to hunt or hike anymore, I can BARELY stay awake driving to work, bad brain fog, emotional issues which was a rare thing for me, I feel very weak all the time and get exhausted very quickly at the gym.
I still lift weights, but my workouts are piss poor at best, in my peak youth years I had relationship issues because of it, the list goes on.
How do they test the gland? Been seeing that pop up in multiple topics as I research TRTI'm sure there are some people for whom TRT is a bad idea and may have negative consequences, but we're all different and the same inputs don't always result in the same outputs (re: diet and exercise, etc.). I tested in the mid 100s shortly after everything went bad, and prior to that you could never have convinced me how severely low T could affect someone. It is hell. Replacement from my MD only gets me into the accepted range, so I typically test in the high 300s and I feel the effects of it every single day.
Quality of life is serious. If you feel like things aren't getting better despite your best efforts, keep pursuing all your options. Good luck.
I normally give myself 3/4 of an ML every Friday. That dose keeps my numbers right in the mid 500s. But during elk season, I'll do a full ML and the difference is dramatic. Even more endurance and strength. I know it is slow acting, and slow to absorb, but after 7 years of injections, just that extra amount really makes a difference. Many people feel it well before 4-6 weeks. The energy I felt at starting dose of 200mg a week was INSANE the first 2 weeks. I couldn’t sleep at night and would hit the ground full speed at 5am no issues needing any caffeine etc. It was just miserable trying to sleep. Talked to doctor and they cut me back. Ended up at 160mg. As I said now it’s normal so sure I could maybe go back to 200mg and wouldn’t feel that jolt again, but everything is good so why mess with it.
That's way too expensive. I pay about $6 weekly for everything.I had a consultation yesterday.
I'm horrible with medical stuff so bear w me.
Test was 397
Free 8.29
%free was 2.9
Vitamin d was low so he prescribed that.
And some other pill.
And said something about a product that would help if I wanted to come back off.
Said my insurance won't pay because I'm over 300.
So I agreed to pay out of pocket.
They gave me a .7 shot
But its $299 every time I re order every 5-6 weeks.
And I fee like even worse shit now.
Honestly I'm regretting it so far. I'm out a bunch of money and don't think I'm gonna use any more of what I payed for.
I just had a consult with an endocrinologist concerning my current cancer and the T supplementation last week. Neither are related to each other. She said she was not worried at all about the heart issues and the prostate comment is true but fairly interesting. You all are aware there are side effect with testosterone supplementation don’t you?
Testosterone is like fuel to the prostate, and there is a risk of sudden cardiac death with this stuff.
not trying to discount the effects some of you have had, but seems this thread has been all roses and no thorns.
be careful and know what you are putting in your body!
Did they put you on HCG or growth hormone as well? 900 is pretty high, that must feel great.I have been on try for 4 years. My levels when I got tested were at about 175. I self inject 1ml/200mg once a week and that seems to keep my levels around 750-900. I haven’t had any negative affects from it except for increased body hair.
I used to get it real bad and extremely sore for 30-45 mins when I did PEDs, I think if you inject slowly and massage it afterwards, it's not as bad. It's normal though from my experience.Do you guys normally get injection site pain.
I may be from rolling around putting a fuel tank in the truck.
Or maybe my body will get more used to it.
I'm still tender after 4 daysI used to get it real bad and extremely sore for 30-45 mins when I did PEDs, I think if you inject slowly and massage it afterwards, it's not as bad. It's normal though from my experience.
