8 miles (1300') with Tiny Elvis today in the Elkhorns; about half the miles with snowshoes.

Hit 2024 miles today, just a week or so to spare :D

Congratulations on making your goal again @mtwarden .

I like the Wendler program so far. It feels like a logical next step to the starting strength novice linear progression that I started with a year ago. I bought the Wendler 5/3/1 book partially based on reading the name in your posts. I figured if a guy in his late sixties could still bust out several sets of 20+ pullups/chinups it might be worth looking into the strength program he's using!

Keep up the good work.

@mtwarden you’re a bad ass

My oldest son and I took off about an hour and a half before daylight to call for wolves. I found a really unique, heavy, palmated, Mtn lion killed WT in the headlamp before daylight. Real fresh, neck meat was still good.

We did 7mi, 3170vert and my pack was heavier than planned between the 15s, tripod, too many clothes and the deadhead. Saw several mulie bucks, but nothing big. Super mild weather for Christmas. The pics suck, he’s a cool buck.

All types of shoulder presses / curls and skull crushers today. Nephews got me sick this weekend so been trying to kick that. Back running tomorrow. Congrats @mtwarden on your goal. I’ll be up in Montana this spring to look for housing and to take my CDL test. Let’s get a hike in!
