They must have different groups of people working on different months the e-forms were submitted. That is absolutely stupid. Why not have everyone working on the oldest first.
It seems like the majority of the faster approvals are filed as individual. Trusts are taking much longer on average. They must have different groups of people working on different months the e-forms were submitted. That is absolutely stupid. Why not have everyone working on the oldest first.
You can transfer from individual to a trust, but you have to pay for another $200 stamp for each NFA item. Can a person do a trust after the fact or does it have to be done at the time of the purchase and filing of the form 4?
It's another $200 stamp I believe. Can a person do a trust after the fact or does it have to be done at the time of the purchase and filing of the form 4?
Mine says " Submitted/in process"You will get an email from the ATF with your pdf of your eForm4. You should’ve also got one when it was first submitted saying “pending”. It’ll be from [email protected]
That means your wait has begun. Its sitting on someone's desk..... you will get one that says "approved" when your good to go.Mine says " Submitted/in process"
Yes i know. I was replying to fever's post that said "pending"That means your wait has begun. Its sitting on someone's desk..... you will get one that says "approved" when your good to go.
Aww I see sorry. Well good luck on your wait, hopefully it's a short oneYes i know. I was replying to fever's post that said "pending"
Yep. Good correction. Should’ve verified the exact wording before posting. Especially since I used quotations.Yes i know. I was replying to fever's post that said "pending"
No worries, I didn't know if they used different wording and wanted others reading this to have some clarity on an otherwise murky process.Yep. Good correction. Should’ve verified the exact wording before posting. Especially since I used quotations.
The reddit mega thread has had a number of crazy short times like yours. Psyched for all you all, but sucks sitting here at 200+.
The reddit link above was posted on another thread. I scanned through several of the posts and some of the short wait periods are with a trust. Looks like majority of short wait periods are individual though. Are any of these shortened wait times using a trust? I would almost get another can if I thought I could speed up the process.
That's what it appears. I'm thinking of getting a can and going the individual route so I can maybe use it for spring bear than do a trust later. Yes, I could save the 200, but I'm impatient with getting new toys.So if I already have a trust for two suppressors and I buy another as an individual now. Will I still have to pay the extra $200 to add the new can to the already existing trust?
I’m in the same boat. Think I’ll be doing the individual purchase soon. That's what it appears. I'm thinking of getting a can and going the individual route so I can maybe use it for spring bear than do a trust later. Yes, I could save the 200, but I'm impatient with getting new toys.
