I’m in Dallas and just about everyone told me >$150 to cut and thread (threading without cutting would be less).I've been doing a little research about threading recently because I want to suppress my .270 Winchester Model 70 for hunting but don't want it f-ed up. What should I expect to pay for a good gunsmith to do it? Any recommendations out there? I'm in TX but would ship.
Class 3 Machining, who comes highly recommended, charges $125 for cut/thread. He doesn’t allow drop offs, so you have to ship to him. But he got mine back in <2 weeks, and its great.
