Which suppressor should I get

CGS Hyperion, or Hyperion K if you want to go as short as possible. I would recommend checking out “Pew Science” since you brought up hearing safe and said you’re in the middle of researching.

I’ve used one on various magnum 30’s, 7’s, and 6.5’s, 18”-26” barrels. Pretty incredible design.

Otter creek has some solid titanium stuff for the budget conscious.

I just bought my first suppressor, a Diligent Defense Enticer STi. I was able to try it out on Saturday and so far I am very happy with it.

Rifle is immaterial to this decision. All that matters is cartridge and your desired preferences. You need to know if certain manufacturers have barrel length restrictions for your cartridge, and if you have desired overall length restrictions and weight restrictions.

I will look into those. Thank you. I’m trying to stay at or under 5” and still get good results. I know this is a challenge but I am planning on this being a hunting rifle and where we hunt thicker areas are likely

I've recently built an AR-15 clone. I was going for something that approximated my service M4 in looks and dimensions. I'm considering getting a suppressor for it. The rifle currently has the standard M-4 style muzzle brake/flash hider, which I would like to keep on it (which means picking a QD mount). I have been leaning towards the Griffin Armaments Recce 5 Mod 4, but I am not committed to that model. Any other suggestions or useful advice is most welcome. The rifle's intended purpose is self-defense and proficiency shooting for same. I'm looking for best overall value for the money. Thank you.

If it's for home defense you're probably going to leave the suppressor on it unless you're traveling, so a direct thread may be the way to go and just screw it on and off when you pack it up. I have an Otter Creek Polonium K that's sitting on my HD AR full time. If you're set on a muzzle device there may be better options but Dead Air has the Xeno system which isn't too terribly heavy and you can get a muzzle brake for bolt guns and the flash hider for the AR and move the suppressor around if need be. There's lighter options but for an AR it could see heavy use you'll probably want to stick with stainless.

You can get an A1 style flash hider with threads for a Plan-B style Hub mount. I have a B1 flash hider made by Hansohn Brothers and use it with a Diligent Defense Zilch Hub mount. Stylistically, it looks exactly like an A1 flash hider that you can thread your suppressor onto with the appropriate adapter.

I have 2 omega 300 that are ok but I wouldn’t buy them again.

I have multiple tbac and love them.
I have a 9mm ptr that I like but too soon to tell how it holds up long term.

I would not recommend silencerco I had weld failures multiple times.
I hear dead air has the same issues.
