20" Superlite - Tan

both are threaded metric m15x1 w/ a 5/8x24 adapter, I have a post about these rifles somewhere on here.. Not really sure how to link to another thread lol

Roughtech Firstlite 20" 6.5 5/8x24 - I have this in the same barrel length in 243 as well

Lemme know if I missed any key details on what your looking for!
Pm me if you have any questions or wanna buy a rifle, I'll hook you up

Thanks!
Jake
I appreciate it, do you guys have the Basic Stainless Lite 243” threaded with a 1-8 twist and 20” barrel?

That doesn't actually give the USA part numbers so while they list a tikka lite 20" stainless 243win in there it doesn't give a part number useful here to find if they even exist state side yet. Only 20" stainless 243win I've seen so far listed is the hunter model.

Based on this link, for just the Lite SS, they are only showing one threaded muzzle option. It is the 6.5 Creed, but it has metric muzzle threads and is a standard length (22.4") barrel.

When adding in the blued Lite models it has a 20" 308 and a 20" 6.5 Creed, as well as a 300WM with the standard length barrel.

If you search just by 5/8-24 muzzle threads, then you get options in the Arctic, Veil, Roughtech, Super Varmint, UPR, Compact Tactical, and TACT A1 models.

For the Roughtech offerings, there are 20" barreled offerings in the following cartridges: 270, 243, 7-08, 308, 30-06, 6.5 Creed

Unfortunately this is the only 20" threaded 243 we have at the moment that I know of - Roughtech Firstlite 20" 243 win

Just to be clear, that is the only stainless (with cerakote) 20" threaded 243, correct?

You also have this blued one listed. I realize the OP is looking for stainless but others may be reading the thread also and if they aren't set on stainless it is an option in the present market:

100% set on stainless and do not want cerakote. 20” stainless models are hitting the market. Gunbroker has them.

https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1103342585 found this one on Gunbroker, prompted a little search of the warehouse, found this one https://www.eurooptic.com/tikka-t3x...rtxb31520mt?utm_source=eoic2018&utm_medium=JT

My website is wrong, Says 22" - It is 20..

My marketing team is fixing the listing as we speak, @JHcaliber9 I PM'd you my RokSlide discount on this rifle

@EuroOptic do you think if I click my heels 3 times and sacrifice one of my finest oxen Tikka will roll out a stainless 6CM this year?

Any concerns with only a 20" barrel on these? I think i'd prefer a 18" to match my 223 I got cut down with the suppressor, but if a 20" won't be an issue I'd rather buy a new one that comes threaded!

In what caliber? If you mean 6CM, 20" is plenty. Too long even, for a lot of people. If and when they come into existence I plan to cut mine to 18", and a lot of guys are doing 16" just fine. Depends what bullet you're shooting, what velocity/range you'd like to get out of it. There's a few threads around about 6CM barrel lengths. If you're suppressing it, 16" or 18" is great.

Looks like one of the first posters in this thread is shooting factory 108gr ELDms at 2660 from a 16" barrel, which I think keeps you around 1800fps out to 550-600yds... for most Id think that's plenty.

Either 6 or 6.5cm. I’m asking if the 20” factory threaded is too long with a can and if people wish they were 18” from the factory. I cut my 223 to 18”

Eh, my personal opinion? 20" with a can is not too long. My "main" gun is a 7RM at 20.5" with a can and I dont find it to be very cumbersome. Would it be better a little shorter? Maybe, yeah. I'm planning to completely give up 7mm and go with 6CM at 18" for a little more maneuverability, less recoil, ammo cost, etc.. Whether Tikka puts one out or I end up having to do a pre-fit. But for now the 20" ain't bad with a 7" can. For a 6CM, I definitely have fingers crossed that they'll be 18" from the factory. But given Tikkas in most calibers are coming out (threaded) in the 20"-22" range, Id be shocked if they do an 18" 6CM.

If hypothetically they push out a 20" threaded 6CM, that's at least getting to a reasonable length. Then you have the option of cut/thread for $200 or less, if you're wanting something a little smaller.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, that's what I'm worried about, seems like if they did 6cm or 6.5cm in 18" that would be a real winner. The 20" 6.5 I'm worried is a touch too long and we'll be spending the $200 to get it cut further and in the same position as we were when the barrels were all 22"+ unthreaded from the factory

The factory threaded barrels is a swing and a miss for several people. I get what they’re trying to do with the lengths they chose but you can’t cater to the suppressed and unsuppressed buyer with the same barrel length. You just end up with a tweener length in my opinion. I have a 20” ctr and 20” 300win and find both longer than I like suppressed. I also believe the guys who don’t want a suppressor or can’t have one where they live would rather have 22” barrel in a lot of cases.

Long way of saying I think they should have left the barrels alone and let us cut/thread them wherever we want. Around here it’s $80 at one place and $100 at the other. Not a huge deal to get the exact barrel length we dream up as perfect grin.
