Looking for advice on what thread size to get my suppressor? I have one thin barrel threaded to 9/16-28 thread. I can get the adapter for 1/2 or 5/8. My other firearms will be threaded accordingly.
Thanks
I have gotten my 6mm and 223 thinner barrels threaded 1/2” so in the future if I wanted to use any of the 223 cans that only come in 1/2” I can (pun intended). But right now I am running 5/8 suppressors so I just use a thread adapter. Larger calibers I am going 5/8 for barrel threads.

Thats a good looking adapter, where did you get it?
The only 223 cans I would use with a 6mm are the ones that are approved by the manufacturer for it, which some of them are. I would have thought that goes without saying.A 6mm bullet might make it through a 223 can, but how much cushion do you have before a battle strike happens?

They do, always best to discuss with the manufacturer.1. I did not know manufacturers sold 223 cans large enough to work with 6mm bullets.
2. People do a lot of stuff on this board that I think is crazy, but works for them. I never assume anything.
My Polonium K is a full auto rated “5.56” can but the hole diameter is actually 6mm. I’ve shot 6 creed and 243 bolt guns with that can as well as a 6 ARC piston driven semi auto gun. Zero issues.1. I did not know manufacturers sold 223 cans large enough to work with 6mm bullets.
