Man yall are some argumentative mofo's. :D

I think this also will be a big whopping nothingburger.
This. That package will most likely show up tomorrow and the universe will be whole again. As mentioned by a few already often this stuff doesn't show up in tracking until it's already delivered. I've had that happen multiple times lately.

Involving the government in any firearm transaction is a mistake.
Unfortunately, if you ship as an individual, there are few to no other options sans face-to-face. UPS and FedEx will not ship a firearm from a citizen to an FFL. That leaves the post office.

OP, I've shipped two rifles recently via the post office in which the tracking stated "package in possession of post office at ABC town" where I dropped it off, and there was no other tracking info provided until the day it was delivered. In one case, it was 7 days between the first scan and the next scan. It can be very frustrating for buyer and seller when the post office tracking system standards are not followed by their employees. I've shipped many firearms in which very detailed tracking was available from the USPS all along the way. It's been recently that the tracking info has been missing. Fortunately, every firearm has reached its destination.

You’re welcome to use the ignore button too.

The situation has nothing to do with you or anybody else in this thread either except for the buyer and seller, yet here you are.
You could use that as the tag line for your article on “How to win friends and influence people”

You may have something interesting to say, but the way you say it not very appetizing to 99% of the people here.

USPS allows FFL’s to ship handguns so that’s not accurate. Individuals can only ship through UPS or FedEx legally neither of which will allow it anymore. So basically handguns have to ship via FFL through USPS.
Well that is not accurate. I have shipped 2 times this year via Fedex a Smith & wesson revolver back to S&W. I declared the contents of the package at the Fedex desk.

All of the haters have shown up. You aren’t yet but you will be now. I couldn’t care less that you wouldn’t buy anything from me. I named my new service business in a way that it would deter people that I don’t want to deal with from calling me and that’s part of my livelihood so if my attitude is all it takes to keep certain people away then it’s a win in my book.
You really didn’t strike me as a ‘customer is always right’ kind of guy anyway, but I’m sure you will go far with your business model.
