Looking to spend up to $300 for a nice rifle scope for a young western hunter. Something with variable power and at least 40mm obj. Somebody has to have a nice scope they're okay parting with........

Wow guys, very generous offers! I appreciate every one of them. I was able to pick up a Burris Fullfield IV 2.5-10×42mm for a great price new. With the quick research I did, I'm thinking this will be a great scope for the type and amout of hunting he'll be doing. Thanks again!
