Yup. That's me.Analysis paralysis
You can get a little more velocity/energy from the 6.5 PRC over the 6.5 CM, while still maintaining very manageable recoil. Use a break or suppressor and it is a real pleasure to shoot. If you are interested in using it for hunting, I would go with the PRC. The 270 WSM is an awesome cartridge as well.Thank you. Why the PRC in your opinion.

I just did a quick search at Sportsmans, and I stand corrected. Theres 10 different loads of 7-08 and 7 for the 6 Creed. That hasnt been the case for the last year at least. I had a hell of a time finding 7-08 ammo since the scandimic and was easily finding ammo for the Creed. I'm still gonna swap my 7-08 barrel to a 6 creed though.I'm surprised 6CM is more available than 7-08. if so I will look into it.
Wouldn’t be my first choice but the reviews seem gun.
It is. I don't remember when the law changed to being able to posses vs use a suppressor but it is legal to hunt with one.Is suppressor hunting legal in Washington State?
Kicks pretty much the same as a 30-06 imo. That's 143 gr in prc and 150 gr in 30-06.What about 6.5 prc?
