Welp noted for next year I guess. Had a buddy that hadn’t hunted out west before and wanted to go. Maybe better off to take turns putting in, hunt together with one shooter, then split the meat

Honestly you’re better off both applying every year possible as individuals. Can’t draw if you don’t apply. The chance of you both drawing the same tag as individuals and having to compete to fill both tags is probably not high odds, especially if you are NR.

Results are posted online. Sea of red for me but both my boys drew the youth only Valle Vidal cow tags out of 30 tags. I’ve been dying to hunt that place for decades, no better way than with my boys. Funny how things work out sometimes.

Not sure how but I managed to draw 2B third rifle deer for the second year in a row, along with a McGregor Range Oryx tag. NM has been too good to me.

I drew my favorite Aoudad tag in February.
My wife drew first archery elk and the same Aoudad tag as me.
My oldest son drew rifle elk and the once-in-a-youth oryx tag on Stallion.
My 10 year old came up red so he'll be in the first round of youth encouragement cow tag shopping.

We are stoked to say the least.
