New Athlon Chronograph

Saw that as well. Not sure Athlon has the same reputation as Garmin, but glad to see more options in the space. The price is definitely nicer. Looking forward to seeing how it does

We have one coming in a couple of weeks to demo and test. We'll get some good content and a solid review as quick as we can. We have a ton on order and should have them on the shelf in the first or second week of April. But we will be taking pre-orders starting tomorrow.

I'm interested to hear what you guys think about them. Great to have options!

I would like to see the field tests and results... while the Garmin was great, I borrowed one and had a hard time getting downrange results (setup and shooting over chrono at 40+ yds) in an attempt to setup more accurate yardage tapes for my bow. I am sure it was user error though. But that price point is great. Would be in the market for one as I intend on getting into reloading this summer as well as I bought some land and have the ability to stretch out some shots so would like for load development.

A tip on the Garmin for archery speeds, make sure the arrow goes right over the top of the Xero C1 and it does seem to need at least 15 yards to get a reading.

Oh, maybe that was the issue - didn't realize it needed that distance to get a reading - for some reason, was picturing it like the older ones where it was more over the top - but that makes sense... like I said, likely was user error.

I'm talkin the first version. so with labradar's new little version that makes 4 competitors. nice.
Yeah, old prices are down.

Your list of competitors could include Labradar’s new one, to be 4. Not sure why it wasn’t on your list of competitors. That is all.

At that price point I might just leave my trusty LR. Of course, this also pushes the used market for those down to about the “free to a good home” level.
