Lets see your hunting/daily driver rig (Pics)

I had always used my truck as a hunting rig. Unloading all the tools for weekend trips was getting old. I stumbled upon this Excursion a couple years ago, got it on the cheap because of hail damage. But who the hell can see the roof on an excursion anyway?? Its awesome with the 3rd row removed and the second row folded down. I added a custom drawer slide to organize gear and I can sleep in it if I don't want to pitch a tent. I just use it on the weekends for camping/scouting/hunting/skiing trips.

Had a 2011 Ford F150 turd that was nothing but a lemon, so I went and bought this to replace it.

****Placeholder for my Q7 Prestige yuppie-mobile that serves as my ultra-luxury office for 50k miles a year (I’m in field sales) and pulls double-duty for annual grouse, pheasant, duck, antelope, and deer hunts in surrounding and distant states...*****

I'm surprised there aren't more Tundras in here. No pictures yet, but I just picked up my new on Thursday. Flew from ND down to Denver and drove it back. Looking to do a 3/1 lift/leveling kit. Any suggestions?
Do bilstein 6112s instead of the 3/1. Youll be glad you did

2017 GMC Canyon Denali with the 2.8 L diesel. I ordered this truck and it’s been amazing so far. 75,000 miles and counting. Really looking at the new 3.0 liter for the 1/2 tons GM put out here lately, I’ve heard it’s a great motor. B1E4931B-B52E-4A93-A84D-5C98EC1FCC05.jpeg

I've been pretty stoked about this truck. 2012 EcoBoost F150 Fx4 with the longer bed. I added Bilstein 5100s to raise the front end (still has a 1/2"-3/4" rake) and the metric equivalent of 34.5"x11.75" Cooper STT Pro mud tires. My favorite feature is the factory installed rear locking differential.

I'm looking into getting something smaller for when I'm not taking the camper, possibly a Gen1 Sequoia.

I jokingly tell everyone I have the Randy Newberg starter kit... got my Sitka, mystery ranch pack, Howa and of course... a new Titan. But in all seriousness, I love this thing. No issues. Goes everywhere I want to. Tows my heavy a** camper. No gripes at all. (Coming from a guy that in the last 10 years has owned a Sierra, ram 1500 sport, ram 2500 slt, f150 fx4 and an Evo. I have a problem. Haha)

I had a 2004 first gen Titan. I put almost 280K miles on that truck, and would have felt confident driving it across the country the day I sold it. I never had a mechanical problem with it, just kept new tires on it, changed the oil and fluids. I did bust the radiator on a rock at one point, but that was my fault :p The only issue I had with the old gen was that the interior wore out. Seats had holes in them, all the plastic parts were faded and looked bad. I have a Nissan Xterra now, and I have put 130k on it so far with the same track record.

Thats good to hear. I think in general, they are totally underrated trucks, overshadowed by everyone's love affair with the tundra. (As far as foreign trucks go)

To add to the Tundra love affair - Truck is my hunting rig and then have a 2018 4runner DD.

Had a 2014 Silverado 1500 Ltz but the build quality was shit so I switched over to toyota. Silverado was 1000x more comfortable for the daily commute but that aside I like the Tacoma much more for woods activities especially.

Was thinking of doing the same thing with my 2016 z71 but not sure I could give up the backseat space for the car seats.

I may end up with another Silverado in a few years. I spend 3 hours a day commuting to/from work and the Chevy was way more comfortable, with similar fuel consumption. My brother has a 17 ltz z71 with the 6.2 and he regularly gets 22-24mpg.
The benefit of the Tacoma is resale, and offroad capabilities.
