A couple more recent ones.

S&W 1006. DA/SA 10mm. Picked it up a few years ago practically NOS. I carry it in a Simply Rugged 'Cuda holster. Handles like a prom queen.



And a sweet .480 Ruger Alaskan. Always walked past these, but now I know better. Slides right into a Galco holster. Does not handle like a prom queen.

How about some details on the bear and pistol you took it with. Same for what I imagine is a grouse.

Grouse took a 230 gold dot to the face from a 1911sc in 45super. (Commander length)

Bear ate a 200gr xtp @ 1250 from a custom worked RIA 10mm. (Government length) Neither put up a fight after contact.

Sheeit, if those guys think we're carrying nice iron, they're living in the past. Now it's all glock 18's and uzi's.

Nobody wants to beat up a classic 1911sc keeping the peace, that's ugly uzi territory.
