Yes, and would also be interesting to see if there is any correlation between hits / misses with particular scopes. Though it would be difficult to strip out other variables like wind reading ability, individual shooting ability, etc.
see above

I'm not correlating wind or rifles, didn't track those, or how many were stretching things and missed trying to qualify for >600.

I'm doing chicken scratch statistics.

I wouldn't read too much into them.

Lies, damn lies and statistics

We missed by pushing our limits and trying for 600. Just too far outside out wheelhouse. Fun though.

400 has been a limit we have held for years, but 370 is the farthest my wife has killed an animal, and every big game animal I've killed with a rifle has been between 260-270 yards.

I feel I get so much more out of this type of challenge. I did the cold bow for a few years and I learn a lot about my limits, but I also get confidence in knowing what I've been successful at before. I missed a mule deer buck at 365 a few years ago and told myself, you need to get better. Now, I have much more confidence in my abilities. The thing that gets me now is wind.

This was an awesome challenge! Great work Justin and everyone else involved. I'm really looking forward to seeing this and Cold Bow continue in the coming years. In the era of Youtube personalities and Instagram "influencers" i'm glad there's a place like Rokslide that's putting out great stuff like this- keep up the good work fellas!

Thanks for pulling this together Justin, Robby and Ryan. Great challenge that opened a lot of eyes as we knew it would, but also provided a lot of information about what the primary causes of a miss are when reading through the entries

Got my gamebags today too. Thanks!

Any idea if they are the deboned, hybrid, or elk quarter set?
