I did the 5 rounds for time, took me 19 mins. The guys that did the every 5 mins were finishing the rounds right about 3min. They looked worse than I did when done.
 
walked the rifle for 11 miles and 3100' of gain; got in close and personal to two different small herds- no brow time bulls in either group :(

4 miles and 800' on the trails with Tiny Elvis; tomorrow I'm going to chase a deer and give the elk a little break :)
 
9 miles and 2600' of gain on a very (very) windy day chasing mule deer. I found three different groups of does bedded in really tight, steep little folds keeping out of the wind- thought with each group that there would be a buck nearby as we're in the middle of the rut, but sadly not :(

My day brought me across this 2 pointer. Not a trophy, but he’s at least a buck. Not deer season in that GMU, though, so just shot him with my camera.
