I'm back from an awesome weekend in the Adirondacks. The weather was good except for a few hours of rain on Saturday morning. I summited 14 high peaks, 3 of them twice, (sawteeth, blake, colvin, nippletop, dial, dix, hough, south dix, grace, macomb, giant, rocky ridge, porter, and cascade). Started hiking at 11:15 Friday morning and got done at 6 on Sunday evening.
Friday: 16 miles 8,460' gain
Saturday: 22 miles 10,707' gain
Sunday: 20 miles 8,133' gain
Trip total: 58 miles 27,300' gain

That's some serious miles and elevation to cram into 3 days, well done!

Sorta sidelined for a few days. Planted food plots at a buddy's place over the weekend. Had my 1st colonoscopy yesterday and Dr said no lifting for a few days. At least I dont have to do that again for 5 years. Between that and the annual urology check up a couple weeks ago my durned farts sound like a dove call. Gonna get some kind of cardio in this evening.

Clean grip deadlift ( heavy )
1x5 3 sec pause at knee
2x5 no pause

Then this BS “special treat”

well this was the first time I've got to hike AFTER work in a couple of months; heavenly cold front (replete with some much needed rain!) rolled in yesterday- our high was 53 degrees :D

4 miles and 900' with my wife and Tiny Elvis

I tell ya what- little Elvis has to be the most in shape little dog in the western US with how many miles and elevation he puts on!
