Are you adding weight to the deep six up front? If so how are you doing it?
Love my injections but would really like to add some more weight up front.
For the life of me I can't figure out why the heck Easton wouldn't roll out a brass insert for the deep six format.
You need to clean the inside of the shafts well with acetone and prep with a brass rifle brush first. I like to put the brush at the end of a drill. Then use the 24 hr epoxy that Easton sells for the HITs. If you do that, they will not move. I have very high KE and not had any issues with Kinetics and HITs even when shooting through 1" plywood. Another great insert option for the .204 shaft is the Firenock Aeroinsert. It comes in steel and 7075 aluminum.Has anyone using the Kinetics with HIT's ever had issues with the inserts pulling out? I did last year, but didn't know if it was my glue or what? But I remember when I built them thinking that the inserts felt too small when installing them.
Yup in a damn 3-D target no less. Needless to say after the first "fluke" and a few more breaking I am no longer using those. For you guys shooting Kinetics... Have you had the pleasure of bending an outsert yet? I loved those arrows but it doesn't take much to render them useless. Their outsert design is horrible.
VAP, 300's, the .001 straightness, Deep6 inserts (didn't care fore their outcerts), Blazers and Rage Hyperbolics. I don't recall the nock info
