I have a Sig X-ten that Will cycle fmj and jhp rounds just fine. I've only shot one hard cast load and it failed to feed every time. It was a hard cast load from sportsman's Warehouse. I think the brand was Velo. I realize it's not a premium brand. I'm curious who's had reliable feeding with the X-ten with a flat nose hard cast round and who the manufacturer was? Thanks!

Try the Underwood line of Black Cherry coated [lubed] or the FMJ flat nose HERE

Many of the rebarrelled G20's have tight chambers and FTF problems. It's trial and error....good on you for testing.

The double tap and Underwood 200g coated rounds and their fmj flat nose all feed in my Glock perfectly.

Pick something hard cast that feeds reliably and shoots well. The heaviest and fastest don’t actually matter. Reliable and accurate should be the goal. You either hit CNS or you don’t. Faster/heavier won’t magically make a bad shot good. Slower/lighter won’t make a good shot bad.

Thanks guys. I ordered a couple versions of buffalo bore. Unfortunately, Underwood won't ship to California without an FFL.... That isn't currently required. I guess it's just easier for them to avoid any hassle.

I ended up buying Underwood and Grizzly ammunition from Midway this morning. If I can't get those to cycle reliably, I'll be selling a Sig X-ten really cheap.... That's actually the only reason I bought the damn thing. It was too good to pass up. Thank goodness for friends with terrible money management skills! I EDC a G19. I probably should have stuck with what I know and got a G20.
