What does everyone do for a living?

Been a police officer for 19 years. I’ve been fortunate enough to work most of my career in special assignments, currently as a K9 officer. Wouldn’t trade it for anything!

I do accounting and finance work for a mid-sized health system. Work from my walk out basement with great views and lots of wildlife.

Software programmer. It' pays the bills. I much more enjoy working with my hands, but the desk job pays better. I can come home and work on hobby projects for fun.

Operations Superintendent for a cigarette company. 12 years shared between the 2nd and 3rd largest tobacco companies.

New Years eve morning when my alarm goes off, will mark the last time an alarm ever wakes me for work. I'll be retired after 20 years of Coast Guard active-duty and nearly 20 as a CG civilian. The Coast Guard has been good to me, and it's been a privilege to serve the public.
All you retired people make me jealous. Only 35 more years for me.

That is some impressive longevity. I am sincerely thankful for your service. Enjoy your retirement and happy new year!

Mohs surgeon/General dermatologist. I’ve been out of training for almost 2 years now. Life is much better outside of residency/fellowship - I can actually hunt now!
