FNG living in Butte, MT

Hello everyone, I grew up in Florida hunting public land deer and hogs as well as doing some inshore fishing chasing snook, redfish and tarpon. Been out west for 5 years living in Idaho, Colorado and now Montana and love it. I've been lurking on the forum for a few years now and really appreciate all the info you guys share with everyone. Just wanted to say hey as well as thanks!

@ewil23 Gonna be staying at Navarre Beach (between Pensacola and Destin) this last week of May, do any inshore fishing in that area? Was gonna walk the bay side of the island and cast crankbaits or plastics. Never done it before but figure I could catch something.

@jsmac I never personally fished much in the panhandle. I fished mostly East Central FL as well as South FL on both coasts. I think you're plan is a great way to locate some fish. Soft plastics & shrimp imitators like DOA's always work. And if that isn't doing it, I'd buy some live shrimp or mullet. Good luck!

What makes you move so much?

@Pony Soldier I got burnt out in my career in FL and then took the next few years working seasonal jobs to be able to see this area of the country. Now I'm back in a "real" job after getting the seasonal thing out of my system.
