The All New MRC/S2H Marshall Rifle Now Available

My apologies, I thought it was expedited and back to you since it had been two weeks or so since you sent it back....
It took me 2-3 days to get it shipped out as work was busy and I had to go buy a box.

It arrived last Monday late afternoon to UM. The Rokstok manager got it fixed and ready to go by Tuesday midday. I was told I would receive shipping info that day.

Nothing came in so I emailed Wednesday. I was told I would receive shipping that day.

Nothing came in and Thursday was crazy at work so I reached out on Friday but never heard back. Then I reached out on Saturday but never heard back.

I called today and left a voicemail. Got a call back and was told it was definitely going out today. I pushed back and asked for confirmation because I have heard that for a week. UM confirmed it was sitting waiting packaged up and labeled for FedEx.

But not long after we hung up I got a text saying that it actually didn’t have a label and their shipping center is down due to AWS stuff.

So my stock will have been sitting there repaired for at least a full week before it ever got shipped back to me. I find that incredibly frustrating given the timing of hunting season.

I’m grateful for UM’s innovation. But I’m quite irritated by this particular situation.

Edit: System got back online and it shipped out today.

Effin yikes. 👎

Update: System got back online and it shipped out today. Should have it by Wednesday.

Will go shoot it Friday before leaving for second rifle if I can!

Consider this a reminder to put ammo in your truck/bag now. I'm assuming I'll be shooting a rifle other than a Marshall for 2nd, but I'd rather have it done right than done now; plenty of other guns on hand if I can't get it by then.

What ammo was yours originally tested with; 108 ELDM?

This is one reason why I keep kicking the can down the road of starting my own business. It’s absolutely impossible to not catch flack lest you completely set yourself on fire.

(not directed at poster, just in general. People are hard to keep happy, that’s all)

I found that my customers don't bother me nearly as much when I hit deadlines.

And deliver on what I said I'd do.

Granted not always easy to do.

The poster certainly has the right to not be happy with this situation.

I get what you’re saying. But I try to be fair and not vocal unless asked. I have purchased nearly every new Rok-product from UM/S2H.

In this case, I paid in full upfront. My rifle then missed its deadline. It then shipped with a faulty spacer install. And when it was fixed and said to be expedited for rifle season, it sat for 7 days. Two of those day I was told it was going out, radio silence on four of those days, and then today told conflicting info.

I didn’t bash UM or S2H or MRC through all that. The worst thing I’ve said is that I appreciate their innovation but am irritated at this particular situation. I don’t think that’s an unreasonable position to have as a loyal and repeat customer.

Brother you are the last person on earth who should be catching flak right now.

Best of luck with your season. Looking forward to hearing your proper thoughts on the Marshall whenever able. We’re all rooting for the home team here.

I was all in on one of these, glad I held off. I think I’m out after following this thread along.
I wouldn’t bow out because of this thread. So far, I think I’m the only retail one in the wild and my issues are related to the spacer install and not the rifle off the shelf.

I suspect it’ll shoot really awesome and I’ll love it. Stay tuned.

I wouldn't write off the rifle because one had a spacer issue. Im certain they will be bad ass rifles

Its a new project and unfortunately this is the downside of immediate access every step of the way through a projects infancy. NO project comes to life without issues, most just are done years before customers hear the product exists. On Rokslide, we hear it exists before it even really exists then it is easy to get frustrated watching the train wreck that is normal infancy. Baby's shit their pants, let give this company and this project the chance to grow out of this early stage.

It’s not so much the spacer issue, more so the seemingly lack of support and communication.
The owner gave an update last week. Its a new product. There is always delays. The only thing they have done wrong in all of this is announce it to soon & give an ETA. They are working out the issues & it sounds like they found them because they are actually testing & shooting the rifles. I respect it. Everyone bitched about the Rokstok too until they started using them. Let them work out the issues & im sure it will be a great rifle

An ETA is a pretty standard expectation if a company takes payment in full for an undelivered product.
