I literally can't think if a single reason how you could be negatively affected by disclosing who in your family's rifle you posses or who you are related to that is an NFR champion. We are talking about a batle that happened 150 years ago and 2 people who rodeo. You are not in the Gambino crime family. Thanks, tourist.
There can be many reasons to remain anonymous and nobody owes you an explanation. If the OP doesn't want to disclose, you aren't entitled to the information.I literally can't think if a single reason how you could be negatively affected by disclosing who in your family's rifle you posses or who you are related to that is an NFR champion. For the record, I could care less who any of these people are, I'm just letting you know that your acting like an ass.
He's the one who came on here shooting his mouth off about how famous his family is and how floored people are when he tells them who he is.There can be many reasons to remain anonymous and nobody owes you an explanation. If the OP doesn't want to disclose, you aren't entitled to the information.
He's not being an ass any more than some on the thread are acting entitled.
Then feel free to ignore it or simply not believe him. He's the one who came on here shooting his mouth off about how famous his family is and how floored people are when he tells them who he is.
For someone who wants anonymity he sure did put himself out there.....

I could care less about any of it. Just calling him out for trying to sound like a big shot and then getting shitty with people when they ask him for details. Seems pretty odd. Then feel free to ignore it or simply not believe him.
Pfft... we get 65 mph winds here outside Buffalo and some reach 85 mph+. 40 is a gentle breeze, lol.I think it depends on who you are. Isolation is Wyoming’s biggest problem. The distances between cities is generally like 100 miles. If you are a recluse, then Wyoming might be perfectly fine.
The weather here is pretty formidable. One of the biggest problems is the wind. Wind is pretty much a constant and sometimes the wind is really strong, like 40 mph. Iced roads and a 40 mph wind are quite common in winter months.
The wind can be very discouraging if not, WY is a very lovely place to live.Pfft... we get 65 mph winds here outside Buffalo and some reach 85 mph+. 40 is a gentle breeze, lol.
Wind is the hardest part of dealing with WY for me. 40-65 mph winds for a week straight can be maddening.
Re-shingled parts of our roof on our NEW house six times in 2021-2022. Also had to replace facia about five times.
lol divorce rates are higher in WY than the majority of the other states…not sure what it is but it’s true. Seen it first hand with my brother. Him and his wife move for a fresh sta away from all our family and liberals here in Oregon. They didn’t even make it 2 years in before the divorce. Now they both hate it there but can’t/wont leave due to custody issues.Noted...We'll head to MT to fish, will get a divorce before we move just to make that part easier once we are there and I'll start making my kids lives hell from today on so they know what to expect....Oh....and I'll do my best to buy an older estate sale property...that way I know I'm just filling in a void from a deceased resident and not taking up any previously unused space, that just sounds like the polite thing to do.
Thanks!
We are still looking and working on next trip out. I do appreciate the input from all. Support group is not much of an issue for us. We will find and make new acquaintances, as will the kids should we pull the trigger.
I have no expectations of them loving it at first, or maybe ever. If they move off once they are independent that's their choice to make and we'll support them wherever they choose to land...I wish my parents had been more flexible in that regard and encouraged me to explore more, might have a better grasp on who I am and what I want...but wouldn't have what I have now so no sense in "could have, would have, wish I had, what if"...
I the idea of a vacation home in wyoming is in the mix as well, but I know that's frowned upon for other reasons, most of which I understand. God forbid someone have the means for a second home they rent out most the year...but I get the effect on housing supply and pricing for locals as well... double edge sword there...and very expensive proposition if it doesn't bring in income to offset itself at least half the year.
Lots of cards in play right now so just taking it day by day and keeping tabs on realestate I'm our current target markets.
Currently liking most of Buffalo up to Ranchester, though smoke/fire hampered our exploring there recently. May head out there in February to poke around again. What part of WY are you looking to move to?
won't be far behind youWyoming may be the place I choose in 12 months, "gotta get out of this place"..
