Suppressor wait times

That email the ATF just sent out today kind of got me excited. Unfortunately that excitement was short lived. Thank you ATF for letting me know the "rules of behavior".

335 days and counting.
Right there with ya. Thought it was one of those "okay, we're going to give you the suppressor, but you need to behave responsibly."

Longest 90 days ever.

What are the paper times running at? There doesn’t seem to be much if any benefit to efile.
Even if eform took as long as paper you would still save a bunch of time on the front and back end. Prior to eform you had to ship your paperwork and wait for the check to cash before it was even submitted. One can this took a month for me. Then on the back end with paper you wait for the stamp to show up at your dealer by mail after approval.

It is asinine to have to pay and wait. Hopeful the amount of these in the wild will eventually get people to see the actual benefit to them.

I decided to dip my toes into the NFA waters last spring. Bought a B&T APC 9 Pro. At the same time, I purchased a suppressor. I have a squeaky clean background. It took ten days for SBR approval, and 268 days for suppressor permission. Now that I have both I cannot fathom why either requires a tax stamp and approval. The suppressor is useless unless attached to a weapon. This does not need a near-year background check. SBR is a bad joke also, as the firearm manufacturers have been making short-barreled shotguns with a pistol grip for at least five years and blood isn't running in the streets. I keep waiting for all of it to be struck down per Bruen, yet the dems have doubled down and thrown everything at the wall hoping something sticks. Then when it is struck down they will just change the wording in the law again, and pass it, knowing it will be another decade in the courts. But I'm not bitter.

I e-filed 2 form 4's about a month ago, my dealer said most of his are coming back in 8-10 months depending on individual or trust. So I'm guessing I have 9 months left....

There’s a mega thread on Reddit that I watch. Seems like 260-280 is average right now with a few higher or lower. I’m hoping to have mine for hunting season!

I’m just messing with you! I should just keep my mouth shut! Karmas a bitch and I’m only 2 months in.
Honestly, at this point even a denial would be good news. It will suck for sure but I am holding off on another can purchase. I don't want to start the process on this next can and have it denied for the same reason.

I don’t know if calling gets you anywhere but it might be worth a call.
