Badger Ordnance--Communication Issues

Anyone else experience communication issues with Badger Ordnance? A while back I emailed them some questions through their website about work to be done to a stock, and some product questions. No response. Despite that, a few weeks back, I went ahead and filled out a work order and sent the stock for M5 inletting with a check. I show they received the stock on the 2nd, but the check hasn't been cashed at this point. I sent a message again through their website about my stock and have seen no response. Granted, that was just yesterday, but given the prior lack of response I am dubious that I will get one. Just wondering. This is a pretty big outfit, but it seems their responsiveness is crappy. Maybe should have sent my stock somewhere else in retrospect. Wondering if I will ever see it again at this point.
 
Odd. I posted this in GENERAL DISCUSSION, which seems pretty appropriate, and it got moved. Wonder why that is??? This isn't a DIY hunting equipment topic. It is absolutely a question in general for the people who use this site. Now it is buried ...

You mean you think that the firearms section is not the appropiate place to post about a firearms stock? Seems like the appropiate place to me.

So in summary.
You emailed them. Got no response.
despite that you filed out a work order and sent your stock in.
They didnt respond to your second email
You are wondering if you made a mistake sending your stock into a company that didnt respond to your first email?
Have you tried to pick up a phone and call them?
 
First. Not a DIY Firearms question. It's a communication question.

Second, I've tried calling twice and didn't get a live person .... so I'll try again. But its a successful and well regarded outfit. Felt odd to get no response and wondered if others had that experience.

Should have expected the keyboard smartassery I suppose.

It’s both. We lean towards a specific sub forum if moving a thread. The cleaner the general forum is the more organized the entire forum looks.

I can understand the need for organization. I'd respectfully submit that this really is more of a "hey ... has anyone else had issues communicating with this well respected vendor" issue than a firearms DIY issue. That is why I put it where I put it. Just delete the post. I'll continue to try to call them.

I called them today and got someone on the phone pretty quickly.

Yea. You wanted input and you are getting exactly what you asked for.
I'm sure your emails to them are just as polite as you are acting here.

Directions are important.
If they got your stock may 2nd chances are they havent even done a run yet depending how long it took them to check in your stock.

From their website
We run stock inlets every 10 days, so yours will be preformed at the next scheduled run following receipt of your stock.

Also their work order form asks for credit card payment and doesnt list check. I wouldnt be surprised if the check adds 14-30 days worth of processing once they deposit it and it clears their bank.

Would seem the problem isnt on their end.
