I’m middle aged but have more old school tendencies such as picking up the phone and talking through an issue, if I can’t preferably talk in person face to face. We are in an age where online and patience are the unfortunate collisions far too often. Boo hoo…..

I have had fairly decent transactions with Silencer Shop overall. Yes, there have been times I hate when I have to wait in line on the phone for a simple question during their hours. Their chat line is ok but a recent conversation was way too sterile and tested my patience. I had to be precise with exact, precise questions and follow up tactfully while the person/bot only wanted to respond with single answers. I finally got answers that were not exactly what I wanted to hear nor expected for great service but none the less, it was resolved, exhausted…

I just ordered another can through SS due to knowing how to manage them but wish it was a more pleasant experience….in the past when SS wouldn’t respond promptly, I drove to my local dealer, who had a phone number for dealers that got better response time than what us consumers get. Fodder to remember.

Sorry for the rant but hoping others can learn from my experiences….for now, I’m staying away from Silencer Central due to the overwhelming reviews I read about less than stellar customer service.
