What scope on Kimber Montana .308?

Right on.

I shot a couple quick groups this morning at 30 in-lb and initially it looked like it was holding (with federal premium 180gr partitions).

Switched to hornady 150gr superformance sst's and immediately noticed a gap to the witness mark, though seemingly not as bad as at 25 in-lb. Seems like the snappy recoil impulse is more likely to slip the scope. I forgot my torque wrench but I think 35 in-lb will work.

I went with the Trijicon Accupoint 3-9x40mm with the green mil-dot reticle on my Kimber Montana 7mm-08...tough and lightweight. Mounted the scope with Talley Lightweight rings, but would probably opt for the Leupold BackCountries.

I have the leupolds on both my Kimbers. The rear base hangs way over the action. It doesn't seem to affect function at all, but it looks very out of place.
