I can't afford new ear plugs after buying this scope
Prolly could get at least a few pairs for the cost of one of your rounds of 300 WM. You can also start another thread and we can create a GoFundMe.

I am shooting with reused ear plugs. Oddly not as loud or as much recoil as I expected .

My 30-06s don't even have rubber pads.

I don't hunt 243, it is savage. Not fan of either. Medium barrel. Going to use it for practice.

I use cigarette buts, if you wet them a little they fill up the ear well.

No I just reuse ear plugs. At work you walk in and out loud areas. Don't put new ones in each time. It does make a difference after awhile.

As 243 bought it for coyote hunting, but just don't go.

I am old fashioned, not part of shoot the smallest caliber you can generation. I understand merrits of it. Stay on target, speed is energy. Bullets are a lot better than they used to be.

I normally hunt 15-45 yards. Might see one buck. Dense woods. 100 yards of tracking is like 1000. I know this will upset people. I am part of the biggest you can shoot comfortably and accurate crowd.

I've also had failures with savage so not a fan

If think someone who is not back slapping and doesn't agree with everyone is a troll. You guys need to get to a deer camp, and have beer with some men.

Texans like to say "why in Texas we_____". But they don't realize we all have it.
You sir, I wish all the best.

Lots here have made an effort, with no results.

Carry on.
Because I am using Leupold or not using 243?

What do you want a thank you letter? Thank you miss.

I asked a question. Got answer. Never said I didn't believe. Said thank you many times.

It's been less than a week and have not bought a new scope. Miss sorry this bothers you .

How are you testing to know that it holds zero?

Anything besides it just riding in the truck?

I'd seriously search the drop tests, try them even if only from 24".

Not that the scope is the only thing that can move zero, but it's a frequent culprit.

This is all stuff to keep you from being in a position a lot of us have been in. No matter what, you should test your gear, and you seem to be doing that, just there's some info around that helps you target things to show weak links.

Just thought this was worth reposting.

Didn't get answered, hopefully it's getting considered.

Could also lean gun on a truck, let it fall over, see if it holds. Not like that doesn't happen all the time.
