I'd try a second laser and make sure it is calibrated against the first laser and squared up with the rectile. Shooting only one laser, you have no idea if that laser is correct. Coherent light can be tricky sometimes.

@Zerk Marsh is giving you advice to speed up your process. You complained of how long it takes, as well as other things.

I just keep reading and keep repeating to my self, well bless your heart, you keep trying.
When did I complain? I enjoy shooting. I should stop when it gets dark, wasting time. But I like it.

For umpteen time I just find him to be a hole, I used a laser ok. Lets deal with where I am at now. I tried looking down the 24" 30 caliber barrel in my basement I could not. I happen to own a laser. Once you are on paper what does it really mater?

Go to your neighbors barn, shoot a hole in the roof, and make your gross adjustments. Does it really mater??

What words of wisdom am I missing? Yes I agree you need more shots to know where it is shooting. If I want to take my time doing it, that is my problem. It certainly will not be less accurate by letting the barrel cool. Can we agree on that??

From the start you were saying you were worried you wouldn't have enough time to get things squared away.

You have complained it seems the whole thread to me, but I guess that's upto interpretation.

No harm in letting the barrel cool, take a shot a day if you wish. It's not efficient.

Why are you so focused on the laser? Skip that part and do the rest. I’m just trying to get you zeroed so you can make an ethical shot on an animal.

If that’s asshole so be it. I don’t even care. But I do care about people making ethical shots on live animals.

Because you were like this is the only way to do it. However you get on paper, who cares?

Again other than firing 10 shots before adjusting, what is your words of wisdom,?

Rectum, damn near killed him.

On 22" 30 caliber barell I just looked through. Maybe would work better with better definition on wall. With laser go on concrete wall. I was able to see my planer.

I am not going to do it this way though. I got bench at zero yards, and target at 100. Not going to move things around. At home, when mounting I got a platform and vice for this.

As long as you get on paper, it should not mater with the quality tracking of the trijicon

You are correct. Inefficient but that’s done. Start from my instructions at the 100yard point and get this dude zeroed tomorrow.

Trust the Trijicon. It’s money.

I'll translate and clear some stuff up.

@Marshfly outlined his start to finish process.
@Zerk took that as meaning he was being told to start over.

@Zerk is currently placing bullet holes somewhere he can see holes in paper at an unknown distance. @ResearchinStuff and @sbaker0029 can't help but not try to solve the problem. @ScreamingPotato has shown the most patience and his son is kicking ass at work.

For some reason nobody has pointed out that a lightweight 300wm shot by a person without much experience shooting at or past 100yds is probably a 3-4" shooting system.

@sndmn11 still thinks an aimpoint pro would win.

Despite the mention of lasers repeatedly @Billy Goat has thrown Dr. EVIL in a meme yet.

@redneckbmxer24 can't see a lot of members posts.
Omg … youve been here a year … go have a tantrum somewhere else DB
No that guy at least had the sheep tag.

Thank you now I can type whatever I want and you wont see it. Until you have to click on show content from ignored member. Then who is in whos head rent free.

Our pets' heads are falling off and the sky is falling.

@Zerk I hope you shoot a big elk.

Get effed man. What a loser you are. You don’t deserve any of the advice you have been given here.

I am complimenting you. I don't think you are a pussy. Ignore lists are for pussies. Do you need a safe place and puppy to pet? I don't think that is you. I think ignore lists are for modern men,
