What did it measure to?

It’s a small spot to get really flush with but with my dial calipers .093-.096 again hard to be totally certain on being perfectly level on the lug. But the play dough shows it’s compressing down to the top of the lug. The lug CANNOT be removed without damage. I’ve heated it gently. Tapped it to try and get some play and used vice grips. Never even budged a little. The factory one came right out with a decent tug.

Got my red carpet call from UM today. Painless and very much appreciated.

I had made two changes to my order: one to 2 color cerakote last Spring and a last minute change to a trinity rail.

The cerakote change was correctly captured.

The trinity rail was not, however, when I had emailed to request the change I was told it was too late to formally change the order since the stock was in shipment but that they would add a note.

That note was missed/lost, but thanks to the call I was able to clarify the change, it was noted, and hopefully I’ll be looking it over in person in a couple of weeks.

My notification it was shipped was when I requested the trinity rail as well, I didn’t get a ca but didn’t have any changes from original either.

I would take all of 5 minutes to modify and repost the inlet toolpath so there was a flat datum in front of the lug so the final qc could hit it with a go/no go gage and check the lug protrusion.
