How do we know whose hand that actually is?
I bet those aren't even forms hands.
Those gotta be Jakes hands. Working mans hands.
Can't be Ryan's hands...........Short..........fingers.

I don’t doubt all that. I guess what it all boils down to is my confusion over how a product is being put up for sale, when there isn’t a product yet.How would UM have-
When the first post of this stock was the night bondo was applied and sanded to be scanned for the first 3d print? You know there isn’t an actual stock even made yet, right? Not only that, there is still the possibility that once the test stocks come out of the mold and get used by us, that the design gets tweaked. So how can there be a “FAQ, “pics”, “videos”, “tutorial”, or “sizzle reel”? Although, I believe every question you and others have asked are in this thread, the podcast, or the Chassis Versus Stocks thread that’s has been linked to multiple times.
Can you point out or name a single stock or maker that included a forum in the iterative design from the very beginning?
Even with all that, what has been shown is a tiny fraction of what has transpired.

Sigh... And we're spending way too many brain cells obsessing over a dudes hands and we're destined to wander back down the only fans road again...

I greatly appreciate all that is being done behind the scenes, and I’m sure I will eventually be a benefactor of all the effort, it’s just a different way of offering something for sale. Not saying it’s wrong, it’s just odd.
Wait until you hear about Kick Starter.I don’t doubt all that. I guess what it all boils down to is my confusion over how a product is being put up for sale, when there isn’t a product yet.

Another aspect is that we are too damn impatient to wait until there is an actual product to buy, and Ryan was probably sick of the “when can we order one?” ConstantlyI listened to it. Mostly enjoyed it. Could’ve done without the language as I had kids in the car too. I must admit though, when the tangents and sidebars start, I hit the fast forward. I tried, I really did. Maybe I should’ve popped an adderall first. As I said before I even listened to it, the podcast could use a bullet pointed, Reader’s Digest version IMO. Got some questions answered, yes, but a few remain. They were probably answered but I really struggled to stay technically engaged amidst all the banter, which is the problem I have with all podcasts. It’s me, I know. It’s not the presenters. The content was good, I just have the attention span of a fruit fly. Podcasts just aren’t my thing. I don’t like hearing myself talk for more than a few minutes either!
IMO, UM would really do themselves proper by simply including more info on their website. Where’s the FAQ? Where’s the pics? Where’s the videos? Where’s the tutorial on how and why? Every other stock company has sizzle reels exhibiting the features. They could’ve nipped all this bombardment of unnecessary questions in the bud by simply providing more info up front. I feel sorry for their customer service guy, but it’s largely self inflicted.
Or maybe the marketing strategy was intentionally opaque, to generate the buzz and interest? Idk, it’s an interesting tactic whether intentional or not.

A normal civilized group of people would probably be ok waiting for the product to actually exist before ordering it, but we ain’t that
Love the various rabbit holes, although the weirdness can take some hard turns occasionally. Call it a self preservation approach if you like!OH look at me Mr. Ive got somewhere more important to be and better things to do....hahahahaha
I'm assuming the 3D print is about at its limit with a supressed .223
It was very interesting watching the recoil impulse at the scope end. It never once wandered (as far as I could tell) away from her direct line of sight. Very straight recoil impulse.
I'm dying to see how it acts with a little more recoil (no rush! I know it doesn't exist yet! )
Very much. It started crushing or melting already- it dropped elevation by almost a mil in 20-30 shots.
Less than .5 mil shift in any direction so far.
