As far as I’m aware that is correct.

Correct. It’s an additional tag. I shot a bull a few years back and confirmed that I was still g2g for the cow tag.

Also, I could already download my e-tag to the FWP app as of this afternoon. So I guess that means it’s really real I drew.

I looked in my FWP app and can download as well. I clicked the little download arrow… what exactly does that do? Just basically make the E tags available in the app?

A permit and a license are 2 different things. Licenses go on the animal. Permits give you permission to use a license.

MT has both elk B licenses and permits. So you need to verify your terminology.

Its the excel spreadsheet, make sure you enter your info and select the animal

Well, that's a new one for me.. back door used to say successful, but now says unsuccessful. This has been the case for the last hour with it still showing my permit draw pending. Not sure what to make of that.. but assuming it's not good.

Yea, I am checking for a non-resident and his did the same. Permit is still pending, and now it also shows "Deer Combo retained" in the pending section.

I drew general.
If I had also drew a LE permit, it would void my general.
If possible I would like an additional opertunity to harvest and additional animal.

I think it means we didn't draw the permit, but that the overall permit draws are still ongoing. That's a serious bummer because my odds for the permit should have been better than my odds for the combo license.
