I hadn’t bothered to upload the app until recently, what a pile of dung that is. Anyone have any hot tips to make it actually work?

What exactly are you wanting to do with it? The only thing I've found it useful for is storing data. But it sucks even for that. Not very intuitive or user friendly

Was just going to use it for storing data. Thought it might be easier than writing everything in notebooks like I always have.

It wasn't syncing new shot strings and kept prompting me to update the firmware. So I did the firmware download (cumbersome) and now it wont connect to the chrono at all.

Unless someone has it figured, I'll probably delete the app and go on using it without as it's done well in that regard.

I definitely don't like the user interface in the Athlon app. It's clunky and not intuitive, but I haven't had any issues with it.

I click on the hamburger menu, click connect device, click enter under velocity pro radar (if you have already connected it), click manage on your radar device profile that should show up, and then all my data is displayed pretty neatly and can be filtered by rifle or bullet.

I honestly like how it displays the data and the export has been clean to Excel for me. It's accessing the data that I feel is a PITA with the button sequence I listed above.

I don’t remember what was involved but I don’t recall it being too much trouble. I like others just use it for storing the data. I still write data on targets and in the log book so I really don’t need the app either although I do occasionally go back to do some comparisons and to refresh my memory. That was the same for the original Labradar.
