Is that a typo?
No sir. I usually buy three new bows a year with all the add ons. Last year I purchased three rifles with scopes. This year I’ve already replaced two of my bows and am trying the Arxos sights on all of my bows. Decided I liked the EXO K4 so have purchased three of them. Decided to try a new arrow setup so have built a couple dozen for hunting and a couple for just practicing.

Then there’s optics. That rabbit hole leads to tripods. And heads. And on and on. Gets a bit insane but I enjoy it so stopped worrying about it or second guessing myself.

I’m kind of ridiculous in the gear realm. Absolutely love trying new stuff.

Fly fishing also takes up a lot of my investments too.

I definitely don’t keep it all. I sell off what I don’t care for and try new stuff.

I have watched meat eater many times. Never owned first lite ever. I actually had the chance to at a discount when I was involved in the industry but chose to go a different route and this was before I knew the ins and outs. I'm honestly not mad at meat eater or rinella. What's astonishing is the uneducated half ass comments. If this room is a picture as to the attitude of our country we are in dire straights. And I'm not saying that to be a dick. We live in the age of education and information at our fingertips and the bewildering laziness in regards to educating one's selves on history and prior regimes strategies as to disarm its population is truly sickening to me.
Didn’t answer the first question. Have you spent money with the list of companies in that anti-gun article? And what exactly is Chernin’s grand scheme here? Please explain to us less educated folks.

Just wondering where you draw the arbitrary line we should all be following.

I assume you've never turned on CNN, bought Levi jeans, been to an AMC theater, had an AT&T phone or internet, had Comcast internet or cable, flown Delta, shopped at Dicks Sporting Goods, bought through Ebay, used Paypal, had Geico or Progressive insurance, had a Microsoft product, watched anything under the NBC media umbrella, paid for something with a Square credit card reader, taken an Uber or Lyft, read a Yelp review, or bought from a store with a "no firearms allowed" sign on the door?
See that’s the problem. I didn’t say anyone should or shouldn’t follow anything. I said what my stance is. I’ve got my own backyard to manage and I am not trying to do that for anyone else.

What others do isn’t my concern.

I was curious about that as well. @Greenbelt isn’t big on answering questions. Seems to be focused on calling everyone else’s comments uneducated and half ass FWIW.

What's astonishing to me is you and like two other people are the only ones with brains on this post. It's insane. I am definitely by no means the smartest guy in the room but god it is scary with the absolute lack of brain cells in this conversation. It really solidifies to me that this country is doomed. These people are supposed to be on our side? God help us all.
It’s always the same which I accept. When folks make hunters (or any other “celebrity”) their hero, they refuse to look anywhere that might damage their attachment. Look at Bowmar. Dude can “conspire” to poach, be convicted, do stupid shit on video that leads to the loss of hunting rights, burn his truck down, etc. and his same cronies lick his boots.

I know I will never get between a man and his idol, but I can rest knowing I spoke up and also voted with my dollar. When these people actually succeed in destroying what we love, I can at least say “I told you so.”

Ok so what you are trying to prove is ridiculous. Seriously. I do not have att, I have used eBay and PayPal, and the rest is a no. But what does that prove? Seriously. At least the dems come right out and tell us how crazy they are. Moderate republicans are the worst. Hide in the shadows, making excuses for everything and everyone, just waiting to see who pulls ahead so they can jump line when need be. At some point boys you're gonna have to draw a line in the sand and sacrifice a little.

On that note I'm outta here. Yours was a nice last statement to end that on. It is reassuring that some people still have dignity in this world.

Appreciate it and you as well. I think I’m done also. I’ve said my part and not much more to add.

Without a big tent, you lose. The White House, the Senate and House time and time again. Moderate Repubs are the worst, eh? Say hello to Joe Biden, your next President, because a landslide is coming without moderate Repubs and independents.

Proudly draw the line wherever you want. Look in the mirror and congratulate yourself on Election Day morning for standing up for all your beliefs then when the evening voting results are ugly then say crap like, "How did that person win? I don't know anyone that voted for them. Damn election was stolen." Nope, not stolen. Terrible strategy doomed the election results. You energetically alienated people that align with many of your views but perhaps not on abortion or bump stocks or diversity and you stomp all over an issue that pushes them towards Joe Biden as he seems the normal guy in comparison. You inspire those voters to actually turn out and vote against you.

So, enjoy the chest-thumping. No matter the outcome, Don or Joe won't really be calling the shots. Those that call the shots never show up on the ballot. Koch Bros and big influencers and donors along the entire political spectrum know politicians need bid money fast to run for election then to stay viable in the next race and to not get "primaries" out of the race when upset a big donor that funds another primary candidate that splits off vote so the disloyal incumbent loses.

I do not care about what goes on between consenting adults, what people do with their own body, where prayers happen or don't, whether a Christmas tree is put up somewhere on public land, and many other issues that do not negatively impact my wallet and individual states can wrestle with just fine. I do care about national security, law and order which is fairly executed and a growing economy. I don't buy that so many Repub and Dem Presidents have found valid justifications to go into other countries to "save them" then after we destabilize things, lose 1000s of our military member with 1000s more sucking on a .45 semi-auto later as we bail off the top of an Embassy or an airport abandoning our allies to be tortured and killed by whomever steps into the void we created. Korea is the last nation we rebuilt successfully. Half a century ago which is a long time for a country less than 3 centuries old .We are terrible World Police and can't even get reimbursed for what we spend. Hey, Kuwait, how about a little something for the effort? Maybe 25% of your oil revenues until we are repaid in full. Well, that is okay, keep your money and we will just borrow from KSA and China to spend on bombs and ammo for the next clusterfrick.

So, yes, I will take my moderate rear end out of your tent until you are left with the truest, noblest of true believers. No one needs crooked voting machines to win against that small tent.

I think its disingenuous to ignore the long term goals and positive impact a company or brand produces based almost entirely on what some guy who is affiliated with said company "retweeted" years ago. Its like people want to boil everything down to a single unnuanced statement and bury their head in the sand afterward. It is easier that way I guess.

I'm from the east and only hunt in the east, so I don't have the perspective of many westerners constantly complaining about tag reduction. States like PA and MI with historically high license sales have consistently dropped for decades. Everyone is focused on hunting brands driving revenue for advertisting, which they obviously do and is obviously a goal, but MeatEater makes it pretty clear that more hunters mean more conservation dollars for these states struggling with recruitment.

If you think this is some kind of bait and switch and they're all huddled together in a dark room laughing at how they tricked everyone into wearing first lite while they count up all the cash they're handing over to the communists then idk what to tell you. Who'd have thunk, a successful group of people reaching a broad audience has diverse opinions and don't angrily cram wedge issues down your throat at every opportunity? Many times on this forum I see people whine about them having liberal guests on their podcasts but ignore the competetive shooters, ex-military, Tucker Carlson, Ted Nugent, and Donald Trump Jr. guests. Its all part of the agenda though, right?

Have you considered that the people you're addressing don't actually care about the issue and its only value to them is maintaining their undeserved superiority complex on online forums like this?
