I like my Sitka Mountain pants. They’re just barely insulated, or at least thicker than a lot of other things I own, but even in NC they’re not too hot other than maybe the dove opener. And they don’t seem to hang up on a lot of the brush I have to walk through.

Mid - first lite corrugate ( I have foundary and the original and I love the vents on the foundary but I hate the waterproof panels In the heat, imo a regular corrugate with the vents from the foundary would be the best

Depends on how warm it is.
I have a couple pairs of Kuiu Attack pants which I really like, but I’ve been wearing a pair of old school wool pants almost exclusively the last couple of years.
I have two pair of the Big Bill merino wool pants. One pair cargo style the other a four pocket style with no cargo pockets.
Very comfortable, and quiet.
