If we put our minds to it we can get water to the undeveloped West. Pipe it in, groundwater mostly. The West has been turning into what the rest of the country looks like. “Alex I’ll take SLC and Bozeman for $1,000.” It’s not if, it’s when the lands will get developed. The more new people the faster it will happen. It’s our last Frontier, Federal Land and it’s disappearing. Just like barbed wire fence. No way to stop it, extremely difficult to slow down. I heard on the Charley Kirk show he said he loves new immigrants and we have vast land in the West for settlement. I thought Glenn Beck said the same.

Ahh yes the hardcore Christian’s that believe more babies and more people will always equal a better living standard

Also the same guys who aren’t into the outdoors.

I can see people being pro this land sale , I can’t however see it being the hunters this site is built up of which largely use these type lands for recreation.

No, its just that there is something special about the west and trying to cram as many people in there at the expense of our public spaces and diminishing water resources especially with false promises of lowering housing costs feels deeply sacrilegious to me. Of course that is just my opinion, but it is not just an opinion that aquifers are depleting.

For me, going back east and seeing a lack of wild spaces reinforces what we have to lose.

Watch the news and you will see what it looks like. Add in a true e-verify with repercussions for employers for highering illegals and get rid of social services such as school, medical care, free cell phones, free housing and the majority of the rest will leave if there is no way to survive here.
