Of course not!!! I said I will not work with or associate myself or give support to anyone working to erode my freedom, an example is the 2nd Amendment. Trump believes it's ok to use eminent domain to force private property holders to sell their land for develop projects. I'm strongly against this!!!! However, I would never donate funds to stop eminent domain to an organization that also supports restriting my 2nd Amendment, for example. I would find and support another organization to fight against eminent domain.

It seems like liberty and freedom are very important to you.

I agree the government profits from selling the lands will get wasted, it's what the government does. Many people will also have more housing, and housing demand and prixes will go down. Hiw is that a fail for them? Do you have any children? Where will they live when they grow up and get married? Your house? Did your parents buy the house you grew up in new? How about their parents and on and one?

I’m all about it. People not here legally should either be processed to be legal, sent back, or prosecuted if they have committed serious crimes here. Should be done with a process to make sure the right people are being deported. Depopulation or at bare minimum stopping growth is the only thing that keeps this rock habitable long term. Step 1? Stop rewarding making kids in the tax code. Go the other way, and each one costs you more.

I've designed and stamped a good number of residential site improvement and lot grading plans, and I've done far more commercial sites.

My favorite is when someone that moved into a new subdivision just a few years prior attends a neighborhood meeting for a proposed adjacent development to argue why no one else should be allowed get what they did. Much like the Land Tawney disciples in this thread, they are heavy on emotions, greed, and personal interest, and they are very light on facts and logic.

It scares me how fast the world population is growing, doesn't seem sustainable. We're lucky to have a little more resources and room in this country so we can fight over building housing adjacent to Vegas but there's bigger problems down the line for our kids and grandkids.

Housing prices will hardly budge, and in the grand scheme this will be a bandaid, a very weak bandaid.

I did have children, and we will all figure out where to live as my family has been doing from day 1 without needing to sell our public lands.

Also, much bigger families use to live together in much smaller houses. Theres the second change that’s taken place to create this problem.

50 years ago you probably looked at an average of about 300 sq ft per person homes. Now you probably around 1000 sq ft per person

If I could decide policy? My first would be to reduce and eliminate the debt as quickly as possible. Reduce government and services and regulations drastically across the board. My second would be to drastically reduce immigration. Pass laws amend the Constitution to eliminate birth citizenship, chain migration, clean it all up. Heavily scrutinize new immigrants and only allow those would could demonstrate benefiting our country. No more refugees no more asylum seekers. Bill
