Big wrestling fan here. Should be a lot of really good matches this weekend. I am a Penn State fan, my HS coach's kid actually wrestled for them a few years back, it was really cool seeing someone you know wrestle at that level. I love any good Penn State/Iowa matchup, and it looks like there could be a few of those. I would however like to see Marinelli finally get a win. I don't think it's too much of a stretch to expect that Desanto will get beat, try a dirty move, and then throw a tantrum at some point during the tournament, which I fully look forward to watching.

I'd like to see Suriano get another win, not sure how much competition he has.
I'm pulling for RBY over Fix, should be another great match either way.
Nick Lee over Eierman. Another great match.
I'd like to see Yianni get another win.
David Carr over Deakin. I really enjoy watching Carr.
Starocci over Kemmerer Semis, and vs Mehki Lewis in the finals would be exciting matches.
Brooks vs Amine rematch
I'd love to see a Wyoming wrestler make the finals. Stephen Buchanan VS Dean would be awesome.
I have nothing against Stevenson, but I would like to see someone beat him.

Another wish for this weekend would be to see Suriano get pinned in 4 seconds. Then in consolations, he would get pinned in 3 seconds. Then, retire, get a job at Target, and no more TV interviews ever ever again!
Ok now I gotta go find out what this is all about.:) I’ll be watching

Hahahaha. I think youtube has an entire channel of his antics.

I just hope someone gives him a competitive match. He seems to be as dominant or more so than Kyle Snyder was. The Air Force Academy has a good entry at 285 and is undefeated this season. He may have a plan for Stevenson but as Mike Tyson said "everyone has a plan until they are punched in the face".

I was OK w Ferrari last year. Then I followed him on Insta. Yea…No. seeing him marching around w firearms and trying to be so Pro 2A while acting a fool does more harm than good. He lost me
Ferrari is a bit over the top but it's a) self promotion for the NIL stuff b) OkState needs a little more personality and less Dean Heil's.

Bedlam is starting to pick up intensity again with the new coach at OU getting them turned around (2nd in Big 12). I'm really glad to see it and I'm not an OU fan.

I haven’t watched or followed college since John Smith wrestled. Are they still stalling the whole time? It got pretty boring. Sounds like maybe I need to get back into it.

South Dakota State fan here. We sent four and hopefully will come out with at least a couple All Americans. Tanner Sloan at 197 could be a sleeper.

One thing I've noted after watching this tournament unfold over the years, is the pressure on these kids must be intense.

A LOT of things went South last year. Made it interesting. Lotta kids shit the bed, while a lot of lower ranked kids pull the pin and let it rip!

I am always intrigued into the psychology of Cael and his coaching. Whatever he brain washes those kids with is powerful shit. He really has them prepped for the Big Show.

As much as I love my Nittany Lions, I'll pick against a few of them. RBY is my favorite current wrestler, but I think Daton has something for him this year.

I think Aaron Brooks only had one career lost until last week. He looked both shocked and panicked with that last take down, and he never even showed up for SV. I think Amine takes him out again.

Penn State looks good on paper, but I've been spoiled by uber dominance for a decade of DT, Ruth, Zain, Nolf and Nickal. Their matches were generally not close. Current crop - you don't see absolute dominance (maybe Nick Lee, but he's not gonna major Eierman)

I'm a Fix fan. I've enjoyed watching him since he was in high school but I would pick RBY. Too quick and the best counter-move wrestler in the gym. If his opponent even thinks a wrong move, RBY scores.

Carr and Eierman lost ???

RE: Carr and Eierman.....correct. Seems everyone had them both in the Finals. I did.

Pleased no, or few injury defaults so far. Legit matches.

Doesn't need to be stated again, but Gable is UNREAL. WOW!

Been fortunate to watch both sessions all day.

I was blown away to see both Carr and Eierman go down. Really looking forward to watching the Kemerer/Hidlay matchup in the quarters.

Go Beavs. Beavers advanced four in the championship bracket; 4 in consolation bracket. All 8 still alive as of last night. I haven’t watch much but it seems to boil down to little mistakes.
