Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
Done it 2 or 3 times over 20 years.
One of these time only took about 20 minutes of conversation.... and it seemed like the weight of the world was lifted.

Even if you fall flat on your face.......

at least you are moving forward.

Sometimes the hardest thing is knowing that you will survive.

Life is good....... Very good!

As a young teen I lost one of my best friends to suicide. At his funeral his father pulled several of us into an embrace of a huddle and stressed to us to remember the pain we were seeing in everyone's heart that day. Now as a LE veteran in the home stretch to retirement and the better part of a career behind me, I've unfortunately seen my share of suicides. I can relate something I have had to observe time and time again that always takes me back to those words of my friend's father....

"Suicide may take the hurt off of you, but it only puts that pain on someone else"

That someone else is someone you love, and who loves you. And no matter how dark and hopeless it may seem, there are always more people than you realize who love you and care for you. I can assure you this, I've never dealt with a scene in which family and friends were nothing less than devastated by the actions and loss of their loved one. It cripples most of them and haunts them for the remainder of their lives.
I wouldn't pretend to say I know how it feels, in fact there are few, if any, or none that know how you feel.
But, there is some good advice to be found in some of the initial responses on this thread. You are brave enough to have made at least some attempt to look for help and advice. Look at that as a foothold in the trek to fighting for your own life.
It is worth it.
Good luck to you

Yeah violent stories of death, destruction and threats of eternity in hell are going to save a guy....may as well read a Quran....
I'm so sorry you feel that way. Life on this earth is not easy for anyone. But God sent his son to die for you & me & everyone so that whosoever believes in him & accepts him in their heart will be saved. What that means is that you'll spend eternity in Heaven with Him instead of in Hell. Yes, I believe there is a place called Hell just as Jesus himself described it in Luke Chapter 16. But God doesn't want anyone to go there. All you have to do is accept His gift of love and salvation. It's the greatest gift ever given to mankind and it's free to anyone. It doesn't matter what you've done or how bad of a person you've been, He loves you and he will forgive you and he will save your soul.
To BiggMc: feel free to pm me & I'll be happy to talk with you on the phone anytime & share the Gospel with you & how He saved me & changed my life. In the meantime I'll pray for you. That invitation is for anyone else too.

My suggestion is Tylenol PM.

Tylenol PM helped me get some much needed sleep when I felt lost. There are many Roksliders praying for you today including from here in AK.

@BiggMc Lots of good advice in this thread along with many caring people who are willing to help. I hope today is a better day, and please reach out to any of us who’ve offered a listening ear. Please PM any time and hang in there.

Also, a big Thank You to all of you on this thread for shining a light in the darkness!

Has anyone connected with the OP? It doesn't appear that he's logged in since he first posted.

Hi all, I hate to say it, and if I am wrong I apologize to the OP but I would say 90% chance this is a bot. If you take a moment to read the replies to past posts, it’s pretty clear.

So what you are saying is, quarantine can even make a Bot anxious and lost 🤔

I keep checking back hoping to hear something. I can think of a couple reasons he may not have logged back in, some benign and some not so much.

He started a thread in November "COVID and your mental health activities!" so this is apparently an ongoing issue. I hope and pray he is ok.

I know what a blt is, but what is a bot?
Basically a computer that posts. They scan the internet for specific items on forums, create an account, post to get some credit. Then they will start spam posting, generally with random links hyperlinked in posts.

Hate to over react over something, but would really hate to under react. Maybe a mod could send a direct email to the address he used to sign up here, just in case he does need somebody to step in for him.
