All Terrian tire that's not All Terrian

I rolled the dice on a set of Hercules Terra Trac AT-X Ventures. Very pleased with them so far. They're really quiet in my opinion. Just ran them in the snow for the first time...anywhere from 12-24" of unplowed road and had no issues. They're also not eyewateringly expensive.

I have run BFG a/t for along time but price and availability have gone to hell
Cooper at3 or pathfinder is our go to now
My buddy has had great success with Michelin a/t more street then I like but
He gets great mileage and mpg out of them

Don’t get the pro comp AT sport, after 30k miles they are annoyingly loud, I probably have another 20-30k of tread life left but will probably replace them in the next year.

General Grabbers are a great tire. I had a set that I put well over 50k on as well. Currently have Falken WildPeaks and am sitting right around 58k on them and have probably 15-20k left on them. Load range E on all of them. Adds life to them on lightweight trucks. Both of mine were on F150s

For your planned usage - Michelin LTX are as good as tire as you will find…Also 60-70k mileage warranty
Reading the thread title I thought "Michelin LTX"...

Then I read the post and thought "dude is describing the Michelin LTX"

I was at Schwab and the guy was showing me the Back Country AT2 and the Open Range AT Plus. I believe he said the back country was made for them by Falken. Not known anyone who has used them but they get decent reviews. Looking for tires for my 21 Tundra.

I'm running the schwabs open range all terrains. F150 with me in it weighs 5700 and the tires wear like iron.

Put the Grabber's on during covid. It's all that was available for my megacab. 20's, they run quite well on most surface's here AZ. they are wearing well for being on a 3/4 ton. I would by them again, if I could not get Michelin's.

I have always had Nittos of some kind. Started with Terra Grapllers and have moved on to Ridge Grapplers. I seen the other day they have a new Terra Grappler coming out that are supposed to be really good. Not much history for them yet though. I wouldn’t be scared to try them.

You have already gotten some good advice on here.

Michelin defender for 99% on-road use in an all-season tire.

If you want a mild all-terrain for slightly more off-road use, I've been really happy with the Yokohama Geolander A/T and the Cooper AT3.

The LTX M&S tires were like deer on an ice covered pond at about 20k miles on my F-350 on ice and snow. Hated them.
That's surprising.
I've owned them and they were excellent.
The reviews on TireRack are overwhelmingly positive.
Sorry you had that experience.

Same here. We have them on a Highlander and they have been excellent tires.

Yeah I have run all kinds of A/T and MT tires on vehicles and the Michelins have been the best for snow and ice…especially ice. I don’t particularly like the look of them but they last a long time and have done surprisingly well in snow and ice on my Tacoma

Why switch from the General Grabber? They are as good as any other tire mentioned for all around highway, mild off road, snow and ice with some light mud.
Notice more noise lately.
Getting an alignment as I type this. Hoping it will knock that down some
I’m not against them, looking at options.
Thanks men!
