i left the little bino objective lens covers in my friends truck on a roadtrip and leupold sent me another pair super quick.
Update on this, I got a shipping notification today for this.Ordered a pair of Crispis and conditioning cream. Boots showed up quick but no cream. Reached out to them inquiring about the cream. They said it got missed on the order and wanted to know if I still wanted it. I told them yes. Still no cream. Its been 3 weeks.
I have had a few Aetos break, one the first day I used it, probably from someone slapping the tip into the roof at the store. And a second one my buddys dog snapped. The first time it was a hassle because sportsmans was responsible for replacing it. The second time, I was told by fenwick they were on backorder for 3 months. Had a full replacement and the newest design in 4 days. I usually refuse to buy any chinese crap, but that fenwick aetos is by far the best thing coming out of china, and for less than 300 dollars will outperform any rod I have fished under a grand.I bought a Fenwick Flyrod in Bozeman two years ago at Bob Wards. Got the receipt and put it my son's glovebox. 2 days later I'm fishing the Gallatin and stumble on some rocks and fall - breaking my rod. I go home, call my son a week later and ask for the receipt to be sent to me. He threw it away while cleaning out his car. Dang! Ended up contacting Fenwick anyway. Sent them a picture of the broken rod and told them about stumbling on rocks and the receipt being thrown away. Told them the date I purchased the rod and where I purchased it. They sent me a new rod. Thought that was pretty good. Kept a loyal customer by doing that for me.
I was looking at one of those for my 5 year old nephew. He has it pretty rough, and I wanted to get something for him other than electronic B.S. I knew it had to be junk. Thanks for confirming.Poor one at Sportsman's Warehouse. I got one of the dumb little Bear bows as the packaging implied adjustable draw length and weight. Neither was true. They would not take it back because the $30 dollar toy was a "bow." I had a Diamond Atomic in hand to buy when they told me that. I put it back on the shelf and spent an extra $50 to get the Atomic from the archery shop next door on principle.
I also will think very hard before ever buying any Bear Archery product, ever as I think pretty poorly of intentionally misleading advertising.
Was it a manager that wouldnt let you return it? If not, try taking it back again. Most of the time its someone that doesnt know anything. It has always amazed me how many people think they are saving the world with a basic retail job.Poor one at Sportsman's Warehouse. The person said they asked the manager and the manager said it could not be returned. The cashier was initially under the impression that the return would not be an issue. Was it a manager that wouldnt let you return it? If not, try taking it back again. I once had a cashier adamant that we had to do a background check on a muzzleloader. I had worked there for 5 years, she had been there 5 weeks. Wouldnt believe me and ended up having to get a manager involved. It was stupid.
