Yeah your the seller advertising a good and opportunity to drum up a willing buyer, once you sell it you can’t change it. Kind of like selling a new Range Rover yet giving the buyer a Pinto. Wonder how many other states have collected as much in prf pt fees and then in essence removed their opportunity unless they have 24 years in the game, be different if the state didn’t charge for this stand alone.

This could end up being what end prf pts across the west.

You easily could be right but that doesn’t mean it won’t cost the state anything to defend it.
Your opportunity to obtain a tag has not been removed or your points taken from you.

Absolutely. When i saw this thread yesterday, my first thought was how long it would take for him to jump in and tell everyone how the article was wrong and everyone involved was an idiot.

Could you imagine any legitimate organization wanting this clown in any leadership or public-facing position? It's bad enough to go on and on in public about things he obviously doesn't understand, but to also be so stupid as to not know when to just shut up and take the win?

So if WY sells me my 1st pt this year your saying I have an opportunity in a normal persons lifespan to draw, even if I’m 60?

The pts were not taken, they are just worthless unless you are one of the top 200 in pts.

Truthfully at the very least WY shouldn’t even allow any new NR to get pts or make it random and refund those that they extorted for all these years fully knowing 99% would never have an opportunity.

I'm the case of a willing buyer purchasing a point they received... absolutely no liability. They got exactly what they paid for and there was no promise or implied assumption that allocations would stay the same. No assumption tag numbers would stay static. No promise the point system wouldn't be done away with (which happened in Montana in the 1970's).

File the lawsuit see what happens...best way to find out.

From Mayo Clinic:
Narcissistic personality disorder — one of several types of personality disorders — is a mental condition in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, troubled relationships, and a lack of empathy for others.

I can't. Ive never even met him and my initial thought was that he is uninformed and claims to know everything there is about hunting. And amazingly, he isnt a Non-Resident of any state he hunts. Only us fools are non-residents and uneducated.

That straight from the Wyoming Game and Fish. That statement is now 100% false. Wyoming did deceive it's buyers but the legal question will ultimately end up being was it intentional.
Just a matter of erasing it off the website, and its like it never existed. Just like killerys emails.

I honestly don’t care about the change in the draw allocation / odds but I do think any NR that were applying in the draw for the big 5 should have the opportunity for a full refund of their preference points due to this change.

An idea… in exchange for a refund they can no longer apply going forward. Sounds fair to me.

And when 90/10 is applied for deer and elk I do hope Wyoming residents pony up for increased tag costs. They are going to need too. That is my opinion.

Non resident of 49 states all of which I'm fully supportive of their residents to allocate their hunting as they see fit. Including keeping 100 percent of their hunting for residents only, as north Dakota does with moose.

Seems a one way street though for nrs of Wyoming.

I think the mistake is when people bought into a system that they believed was static, when that was not ever the case.

Nobody would complain if the populations had gone up significantly and the odds were much better than when you started gathering points.

I understand being upset about the situation, but that's a long way from having a valid claim for damages when the system was never guaranteed to remain static.
