Strength train
Squats - warmup, 3x5 work sets
Overhead Press - warmup, 3x5 work sets
Bench - warmup, 2x5 work sets
Deadlift - 3x5 build to heavy set
Then 3 miles with a 23# pack.
Got back last night from a couple of days of exploring the East Front. 7 miles w/ my wife and TE on Friday, 10 miles (and a lot of climbing) for us yesterday.
Foot is swollen up again, might have jumped the gun just a wee bit
I had applied for a rifle bear tag and an archery mule deer tag in Colorado, but didn't draw. So, since I'm off for the summer I went up to Oklahoma and spent a few days fishing and camping, and scouting some archery only public land there. Got back home today and got unpacked and settled in so I'll be back at it in the morning!!
Hiked 2mi and 800vert with 30lbs, then did choirs around the house and shop.
I’ll be lifting early tomorrow. I’m headed back to the desert tomorrow afternoon for a while. I should be able to keep a routine. I’ll need to ween off the high quality NE IPAs and ween onto over hydrating with the Drip Drop.
