I drove 3/4s of the way across MT and back Friday/Saturday. Yesterday, my oldest matched up my 4pt from last Sunday. Today he and his buddy were heading to an excellent spot that is tough to get to. I didn’t have the heart to leave with them at 0530. Instead I did 1 of our favorite spring hikes where I have found a dead sheep and a moose paddle in the same day.
Hiked 7.5mi and 2800vert. No snowshoes, all hiking.
Warmest day since October. Perfect day, glassed with the 15s several times, got a sunburn, found the ticks and covered a bunch of country… Didn’t find a single F*cking horn.

Well... #$@!%. Halfway though my second set of deadlifts and my left hamstring just locked up. Soooo my plan B is to skip deadlifts for awhile and then eventually work back with light weights/higher reps. It's too bad as my deadlifts were definitely seeing the biggest/best jumps of the four lifts.

overhead press 5/5/5+/amraps @ 65/75/85/65%
chin-ups 30-30-21- just petered out on the last set

Well... #$@!%. Halfway though my second set of deadlifts and my left hamstring just locked up. Soooo my plan B is to skip deadlifts for awhile and then eventually work back with light weights/higher reps. It's too bad as my deadlifts were definitely seeing the biggest/best jumps of the four lifts.

Dang, I feel your pain. Good luck with the hammy….I strained my right groin hitting golf balls of all things this morning. I was working on rotating into to my left side and my right groin just popped. I must have been tight from the squats and deadlifts yesterday. I’m done lifting legs for at least a couple weeks. Hoping for a speedy recovery.
