^ I have no problem doing 3-5 miles in the morning w/o breakfast- this is in Zone 2 (relatively easy); harder or longer miles I need some calories before hand (and if long enough, during). Ditto on going to the gym and lifting, fasting is no bueno for me- I want a good meal under my belt
I have no problems on my walks , just in the gym . I go around 8am or so and just hit a wall about a hour in , I need to figure this out .

OK , I ate four slices of whole wheat bread spread liberally with peanut butter and a banana 45 minutes before going to the gym , and I felt much better .
An hour and forty five minute workout and I left when I wanted to , not when I had to .

35 minutes on the stair stepper , 1044 steps . Then ab work , hanging leg lifts and hammer ab crunches @80lbs 3 sets of 15
Lat pulls @120 3 sets of 15
Bicep curls @ 65 3 sets of 15
Tricep press @80 3 sets of 15
Shoulder press @65 3 sets of 15 (I'm trying to get through a torn tendon in my shoulder from years ago)
Sitting row press @80 3 sets of 15
Leg lifts @80 3 sets of 15
Leg curls @60 3 sets of 15 ( I start to feel these at ten , my hammies start to feel like they're cramping up.)
Altogether a solid workout and I felt ok walking out .

today was supposed to be my squat/bench day (modified Wendler), but I anticipated trouble with my squats w/ any weight due to my hamstring strain, sooooooooo.....

did a half Murph
1/2 mile run
150 air squats
100 pushups
50 pullups
1/2 mile run

broke mine into 5 sets (30/20/10)

Wife and I did 6mi, 1500vert and purposely left our snowshoes at the truck. We were wishing we had them for a hour this afternoon. We picked up my son’s camera and there is another bull moose that’s a different bull than the 2 sets we picked up. We finally found 3 little deer horns about 300 yards from the truck.
Beautiful spring day of 30 degrees and pounding snow.
