The Ovis World Slam

As a follow-up to my thread on the Capra World Slam, how many here are either working towards or have successfully completely the Ovis World Slam?

It involves harvesting 12 of the wild sheep listed below. No easy feat for sure.

I have 0/12 and it won't be happening unless there are 12 Mouflon..

Looking at the above list there are apparently 7.

I would have to look up their definition of “hybrid sheep”. I’ve killed quite a few Suffolk/dorset/Hampshire crossbred sheep. Mine are more wild than the ones listed on the high fence properties in WV and PA. Mine wouldn’t even stay in a pen or within a fence. In that case I have at least two on the list.

They are listed on both, GSCO considers them to count towards both OVIS and Capra slams. Interesting indeed.

I never pursuited this but looking back, luckily I was able to hunt the mouflon and Barbary sheep many times in my country and continue. After this I hunted in Russia the 3 turs and one snow sheep.
Finally due to my good friends in Pakistan I hunted the Urial and the blue sheep an animal that I would never believe that I would hunt , I can't never thank enough.
Then I have 8 of 12.
But complete the rest is impossible for me unless I go for the other snow sheeps, Corsican mouflon or hybrid sheep but I'm not interested in these last two.
