Why used prices on here so high?

Ok one more thing bugging me. Boots really people buy used boots? I am not put off by much I would eat off a spoon passed around camp, but I would not wear used boots! Not sure why it bothers me as not much does but feet F that! I can't meme or I would have put that in a meme for yawl.

I live in a ski town and ski boot rentals are a huge part of some businesses and I've yet to hear about people being affected.

Now eating off someones utensil is where I draw the line, Ha!

I was thinking during the initial verification we would have to provide the previous years income so we know how much someone makes and whether or not its reasonable for them to need to make that much off the item they are selling.

Some times like others have said supply and demand. Other times folks just don’t want to take a big loss. Everyone wants a good return on their investment and that’s not always inline with what other folks are willing to pay.

So people selling used items in the history of the world always sold them as cheap as possible to give the buyer a great deal and short themselves....but now them selling at high prices is because of tyrannical governments and the NWO? Dude take a breath and stay on topic. You want to have a conversation on world events and markets start a new thread. As far as I have ever seen, quality hunting/outdoor gear sold used and in decent condition has never been sold at pennies on the dollar.

What happens when you can buy that item with free shipping, and you live in a state that doesn't have to pay sales tax or you find a site that doesn't charge sales tax? You math quickly goes out the window and now you get a 10% discount for a used item, not matter what condition its in its used.

The thought that someone should consider how much sales tax is on a new item from a retailer before buying a used item from a private party doesn't make sense to me - but it does to many others seemingly. It is used, it is from a private seller, someone has messed around with it, worn it, maybe lost some parts or the owners manual, came from a house where someone smokes or it has cat hair on it. Someone mentioned warranties and yes there are some items that the warranty will carry over to the next owner but there are other items that don't. If I buy an item from a retailer and have a problem with it either inside or outside of the warranty period I have a much better chance of them helping me rectify it than I ever would by asking the person I bought the item from used to help me.

I can't believe I have to explain this to you...but if you can buy with free ship and no tax, then, by golly, don't buy at the higher prices on Rokslide classified. Pretty simple.

People asking questions wondering why prices are so high is pretty relevant to what’s going on directly from the top down.
You can try to explain it away any way you want, the bottom line is yes, there is a great reset happening. The destruction is intentional, and it even affects how much your ******* fancy useless hunting socks cost. You’ll be buying gov approved ones with fed coins soon. I can’t wait for that day for you.
It’s good that everybody wants to ignore it though. You will be swept up in this. Again, get back with me every few months and we’ll see where we’re at.

It's real simple, supply and demand. Perception can drive demand as well. Whether it's perceived or real, with respect to the shooting sports it's treated like the sky is falling right now. It's not happened before with any regularity that folks are snatching up anything they can get when they can get it. And I'd venture to guess even for supplies they don't have an immediate need for or a rifle to use it in. As an example, if a guy already has a large store of primers, he wants more. If a guy shoots larger cased rifles and needs a slower burner, he'll buy faster powder because then he'll have it.
